InterContinental Bali Resort

Had a late lunch at Sunset Bar and Grill. Our server, Widya, was very attentive, friendly and courteous. Meal was delicious. Every bit worth the visit. Customer service was outstanding.

Was at this hotel over the Labor Day weekend to attend a conference. It’s a very large hotel and facilities are very well maintained. Rooms were cleaned and staff services were very good, from front desk, concierge, F&B, etc. Staff were attentive and courteous. Food choices over breakfast were reasonably good. One Sunday (3 May) morning at about 6am, the wash basin did not have hot water even when I ran the water like for 20 minutes. I gave up trying and waiting. On 2 May evening at the Sunset Bar and Grill, one of the staff assumed my room number and offered a 20% discount. I paid with my debit card and only when she asked for my room number did she realized I only entitled to 15% discount. She requested to reverse the charges and wanted to recharge again. She even asked all my other guest for their room number hoping to find a room number that entitles to a 20% discount. This has caused much inconvenience and discomfort as many other guests were looking at us over the conversation. Not a nice feeling and somewhat embarrassing. This should not have happened

We stayed in club rooms. Everyone treated us amazingly. Pool staff, club lounge staff, Mardiana and Dexta are 2 staff we remember there names. Thank you for your great service. Sorry for not mentioning all staff because u were all amazing. Resort assistant manager Ni Wayan Metriani was exceptional. Such a lovely person. You made us feel special. Greeting us everyday by name. Taking time to have a chat and making sure everything was ok. On our departure waited in lobby area and waved goodbye as we drove off. Special touch. Thank you very much.

The cooking class with Chef Warti was excellent! We made 5 local dishes that were delicious. Dishes we wouldn’t ordinarily have tried but are now favourites. A great experience :)

I visited the InterContinental Bali in Jimbaran to try their tennis court, and it was excellent. The court is in great condition, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing game. Afterward, I went to the restaurant, Jimbaran Gardens, and tried the Bebek Rempah with rice. It was absolutely delicious—the kuah gulai is the real winner, especially when combined with the bebek and rice. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, especially Kak Wahyu, who made the experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back, even just for the Bebek Bumbu!
