Thank you, Jumeirah!

Everything exceeded my expectations, from the warm hospitality of the staff to the impeccable service, the excellent room condition, and the outstanding quality of the food. If I ever return to Bali, Jumeirah Bali will definitely be my first choice.

Best hotel in all of Uluwatu

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We stayed there as we wanted to try a brand new hotel in Uluwatu. To our surprise, everything was beyond our expectations! We booked the 2 bedroom garden suite and had Novi as our butler. She made our stay the amazing experience that it was! She went above and beyond the duties of a butler and was always ready to help! We also had the pleasure of having Yoga help us setup our Apple TV in the rooms and at night Martin made sure our villa was free of insects and frogs! All in all, we had an amazing experience and look forward to our next stay at Jumeirah! Kudos to Novi & the team!

Impressive

I'm thoroughly impressed with every aspect of your resort, from the stunning architecture to the exceptional service. Your breakfast spread is truly one of the best I've had the pleasure of enjoying during my stays in Bali. The staff's prompt responses to my queries were also greatly appreciated.

An exceptional place to stay.

Jumeirah is an exceptional place to stay. The grounds are stunning, the service genuinely elevated and the food excellent. Our villa was beautifully designed, quiet and restful, and our butler Ian made the stay feel special, attentive and always a step ahead of what we needed. We will be back.

expected it to be better

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing right from the moment we arrived. The check-in process did not feel welcoming at all. The staff seemed more focused on collecting our passports and credit card as quickly as possible rather than making us feel like valued guests. Before our arrival, I had informed the hotel that we were hungry after our journey, but there was no acknowledgment or effort to make our arrival more comfortable. The room orientation was equally disappointing. We were simply escorted to the villa, our luggage was dropped off, and the staff left without explaining any of the room's features, amenities, or how anything worked. At a luxury property like Jumeirah, I expected a proper introduction to the accommodation. Throughout our stay, it became apparent that the hotel is significantly understaffed. The employees were polite and appeared to be trying their best, but they seemed overworked and stretched too thin. This is not a criticism of the staff themselves—it is a management issue. The hotel simply does not appear to have enough staff to provide the level of service expected from a luxury resort. The buggy service was another major disappointment. Waiting times were consistently much longer than expected, making it inconvenient to get around the resort. This again reinforced the impression that the hotel is either short-staffed or that operations are not being managed efficiently. I was also surprised to learn that there is no concierge available after 6:00 p.m. While the hotel offers an e-concierge service, it is simply not comparable to having an experienced concierge available in person to assist guests with recommendations, reservations, and other requests. For a luxury resort, this falls well below expectations. Another concern was the professionalism of some members of staff. On several occasions, staff were speaking loudly or raising their voices in guest areas, which detracted from the peaceful atmosphere expected at a luxury resort. More concerning, there were also interactions with certain members of staff that left us feeling we were treated differently from other guests. Whether intentional or not, the service we received gave us the impression of bias or discrimination based on our nationality or ethnicity. This made us feel genuinely unwelcome and uncomfortable, which was extremely disappointing for an international luxury hotel where every guest should be treated with equal warmth, courtesy, and respect. I hope the management takes this concern seriously and investigates it appropriately. Overall, I expected a much warmer welcome, better service standards, and a more personalized experience from a property carrying the Jumeirah name. The resort itself is beautiful, but the service and operational shortcomings significantly impacted our stay. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and leads to meaningful improvements for future guests.
