About the Hotel
The Petanu River carves out a lush valley that cradles Kamandalu Ubud, a collection of villas that immerses guests in the Balinese way of life. “Kamandulu,” adopted from Sanskrit, means “the vessel that holds the holy water,” a moniker that encourages finding inner peace. BEST MASSAGE EVER !
I just Had the BEST massage and facial treatment with Miss Lestari, she has golden hands! She’s so kind & sweet asking me here and there if i am feeling comfortable or feeling any pressure so that shes can adjust based on it, I would definitely come back again ! And i do recommend it highly so don't hesitate !

The BEST and LUXURIOUS suite ever
The BEST resort and suite I have ever stayed in, in all my years of travelling. We stayed in Rama villa which blew my mind I cannot put into words how breathtaking this suite was. It exceeded all my expectations. The infinity pool was size of public pool, the facilities inside were top notch, the jacuzzi on top floor linked to master bedroom was the icing on the cake for me. The staff were amazing from room service to reception. They respond and attend within seconds of room service Or any enquiries. Truly the best and I will never forget this one. Hopefully one day I will return to ubud and come back to the glorious resort.

Beautiful hotel
Fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. Amazing two bedroom bungalow with our own private garden and plunge pool. Delicious food and very attentive service from all the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel as a base from which to explore the central Ubud region.

A serene haven that is truly special
The location is a haven of beauty and with a luxurious feel. Set in the most exquisite gardens the architecture and staff make this feel a very special place. The food at breakfast was first class with a fantastic a la carte choice plus buffet options. The Balinese night was also excellent with dancing and again wonderful culinary delights. The garden villa with pool was spectacular and perfect for our family needs having two rooms. It is worth noting that the rooms are entirely separate within the villa so an adult may have to stay with children depending on ages. We found it a great location for Ubud and enjoyed several day trips but the best bit was returning to Kamandalu.
