A wonderful stay at a very beautiful and quiet part of Ubud. The Balinese gardens are magnificent, and the staff are friendly, helpful and a delight to be with.

Quiet, relaxing and a very pleasant location to unwind and re-charge. We really enjoyed this location of our trip. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Our tour guide Raka, took us on a daytrip through the local attractions with ease and a great knowledge. We would highly recommend this location for a quiet break to unwind.

Our stay at Kamandalu Ubud was pure magic from start to finish. Nestled in the lush jungle hills of Ubud, this resort feels like a dreamy escape into serenity. The property is stunning—elegant villas surrounded by rice terraces, tropical gardens, and a quiet that makes you exhale the moment you arrive. The service was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was gracious, kind, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. From the seamless check-in with refreshing welcome drinks to the small personal touches in our villa, we felt cared for and completely relaxed. The staff at Kamandalu truly went above and beyond—especially when our 18-year-old became very ill on our first night (due to something he ate before arriving at the resort). They were quick to offer assistance, helped us communicate with local medical staff, and even checked on us regularly to make sure he was okay. Their genuine care and concern during a stressful moment touched us deeply and reminded us that true hospitality is about heart, not just service. Our villa was beautifully appointed with a private pool, outdoor shower, and the kind of attention to detail that makes a place unforgettable. Waking up to birdsong and sipping coffee overlooking the jungle was the kind of peace we didn’t realize we were missing. We also took part in several of the resort's curated experiences—Steak Night, Balinese Dance Night, and an afternoon at the spa. Each was thoughtfully arranged and made our trip to Bali even more memorable. Kamandalu isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience of beauty, culture, and tranquility. If you're headed to Ubud, treat yourself. This is a resort you’ll never want to leave—and one you'll dream about returning to. She's always professional, calm under pressure, and communicates clearly with me anytime something needs attention. During our most recent stay, we had a small complication with a guest, and Ayu handled it so smoothly that our group never even felt the disruption. Kamandalu’s team is thoughtful, flexible, and highly skilled at what they do. It’s rare to find this level of consistency and care.
