Kamandalu Ubud

Kamandalu Ubud continues to be one of my absolute favorite properties in Bali, both personally and professionally. As a travel agency owner, I’ve worked with countless resorts, and Kamandalu stands out for all the right reasons. We’ve now hosted three group experiences at this property, and the level of service has been exceptional each and every time. The grounds are stunning, yes—but what truly makes Kamandalu special is the team. A huge shoutout to Ayu, who has been a key part of making sure our guests are well taken care of. She's always professional, calm under pressure, and communicates clearly with me anytime something needs attention. During our most recent stay, we had a small complication with a guest, and Ayu handled it so smoothly that our group never even felt the disruption. Kamandalu’s team is thoughtful, flexible, and highly skilled at what they do. It’s rare to find this level of consistency and care. That’s why we continue to return and why I recommend them to anyone looking to create meaningful, luxurious experiences in Ubud.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The service and hospitality were truly top-notch—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It’s a lovely place to relax, with great amenities and a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Kamandalu provides a perfect sanctuary from the world. The staff are beautiful and welcoming, always with a smile. We stayed in 107 and it was kept beautifully. The outside shower is fabulous and the bathroom well appointed. The outdoor relaxing bed is also a lovely addition and we enjoyed spending quiet time there. Each night there was a turn down service and a ‘sweet dream’ treat. We used the laundry service and our clothes were beautifully cared for and returned by the evening. The bed is very firm but we enjoyed a good nights sleep. Upon leaving we used the hotel car as our planned transfer didn’t work out. Agus was the driver and he was outstanding. Such a great person to spend time with as we travelled back to Sanur. We highly recommend our experience all round. Thank you to all the staff for their dedication and hard work.

Amazing experience.the perfet recharge for me & my husband. The staff,our villa,massage and everything was great. Hopefully will be back again.
