Komaneka at Rasa Sayang

This hotel is just off the main busy road in a great location but as soon as you step into reception you can't hear any noise and it feels like a tranquil paradise a million miles away from the hustle and bustle. Our room was beautiful, much bigger than we expected, with a huge bathroom and balcony. All the public areas were lovely, clean and well maintained, even the pool toilets, great attention to detail everywhere. All the staff were incredibly polite, friendly and helpful and nothing at all was too much trouble, but I would like to say a particular thank you to the lovely Wika who, hearing us ask about the vegetarian options on the afternoon tea, independently made sure we got fantastic freshly cooked breakfast items each day of our stay. I loved our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return. The only negative wasn't the hotel's fault as such but a group of guests chain smoking all day round the small pool area was quite off putting, perhaps the hotel could consider making the area no smoking for the consideration of other guests?

An amazing stay in an unbeatable location. This hotel is right on Monkey Forest Road, halfway between Ubud monkey forest and Ubud palace (a few minutes walk to each). Right outside are a ton of shops and spas. But even though it was smack dab in the middle of everything, the hotel itself was absolutely tranquil. We were in a 2-bedroom suite with a living room and patio - beautiful with floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the forest views. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. The breakfast (buffet style) was phenomenal, and the staff were happy to bring anything else you might want that wasn't already offered. Could not have been more perfect.

It’s our fourth visit to Komaneka at Rasa Sayang and we are pleased as always. Everyone are so kind and welcoming. Room is clean and specious. Reni from restaurant is so kind and supportive, we love her very much. Pool is peaceful and in balineze style.

One of the loveliest and most welcoming hotels we have ever stayed at. The location on Monkey Forest Road means that you are only a short walk to many of Ubud’s attractions and restaurants. The resort is much bigger than it seems from the road. We were greeted by name every time we went in and out - special mention to Juhan and his team for being so helpful and friendly. Our family (2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 11) stayed in a rooftop villa. The room was modern and luxurious and with twice a day housekeeping it was always immaculate. Little additions like a variety of snacks being included in the room were a nice touch, as were the glass bottles for water and the pyjamas on the bed at night time. The staff at breakfast couldn’t do enough for us and were always keen to assist - we would return to this resort without question and were a bit sad when we checked out.

My stay at this hotel has been truly unforgettable! 💖 All the staff are professionally trained, fluent in English, and always greet you with a warm smile. 😊✨ One moment that truly touched my heart was during breakfast at the dining area. On Jan 1 2025, a serving staff noticed I wasn’t feeling well—cold and feverish with sweat—and kindly suggested an herbal tea to help and brought it to my room. 🍵💚 It was the best tea I’ve ever had in my life, and her genuine care and attention to detail made all the difference. Thanks to her thoughtful gesture, I felt much better. 🌼 Though I couldn’t take a photo of the tea, I wanted to share this special moment to highlight the hotel’s amazing service. The other staffs are awesome too and they really care my daughter as well. Highly recommend staying here!
