Komaneka at Rasa Sayang

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Rasa Sayang which is very conveniently positioned in the centre of Ubud. Literally a host of shops and eating houses right on the doorstep and Ubud Palace/ Monkey Forest both a ten minute or so walk away. Our room was spacious, clean, and well presented although the view over the local neighborhood not great! We slept reasonably well and could not hear the road at all during the night, which was good, although a local bar kept the music going into the early hours. The staff throughout were exceptional in their delivery of customer service and the breakfast/restaurant crew particularly stood out and were a delight to see each day. Whilst the rooms were of a very high quality we did feel some of the communal areas felt a little tired. All in all, if we wanted to stay in central Ubud again we’d certainly consider the Komeneka Rasa Sayang again, particularly for its convenience.

A wonderful hotel in a great location. It is hard to believe that just a few steps from the main road you transition into such a peaceful and relaxing location. All the amenities you could wish for in a hotel and the staff are amazing offering genuine care for your stay. Thanks to Juhen and the other staff for all they did.

this is a wonderful hotel and far exceeded our highest expectations. the service is not 100% but 200%. Djana who has served us at the table she does much more than serve. She literally takes care of us in the dining room. Location is great. the rooms are very spacious and good. large balcony, very good cleaning. You can't really complain about anything. Thank for me.

A wonderful hidden in an unassuming entrance on the Monkey Forest Rd in Ubud, Bali. This hotel is a gem. The customer service is top notch. The staff remembered our names over three days of stay. They were attentive and helpful. We visited off peak season so the hotel wasn't very crowded. We got a top floor suite with two rooms and an attached balcony. What a delight. The breakfast was awesome and the staff were accommodating with some dietary restrictions and going above and beyond to make us items not on the menu. I wish I could come here every year.

This was just a fantastic place and the staff beyond wonderful. We had the 2-bedroom penthouse suite. It was so wonderful, you could have just stayed there! Such a magnificent oasis. Warning that monkeys do come around so you cannot leave anything out and they can make noise on the roof. They also try to get near the pool area but staff tend to keep them away. We had excellent massages at the hotel and also booked a tour with them. The location is right in town but you would never know it as it is back off the road. You can walk everywhere. One way a short walk to the palace & market, the other to the monkey forest. We were able to order breakfast to our penthouse each day and it was an amazing selection. We also ate most meals at the restaurant there - something we would not normally do, but the selection and service were fantastic. The staff were just so kind and helpful. We arrange the car transfer with the hotel as it is a long way from the airport. My only negative is that initially I tried to contact the hotel and never got a response. I almost cancelled, but I finally reached them on WhatsApp. They website query did not seem to be working and the email was to a group reservation that the hotel never seemed to get. I was very glad I persisted! There is more than one Komaneka. This was Rasa Sayang.
