Komaneka at Tanggayuda

A huge thank you to Anom, the supervisor. It goes without saying that the accommodation itself was excellent, but the service was truly on another level.💗 After getting food poisoning from a local restaurant, I started feeling extremely unwell the day after checking in. The hotel team went above and beyond: they provided me with porridge, called an on-duty doctor, kept checking in on me to reassure me, and continued to offer every possible convenience until the very end. I was especially moved by Anom, one of the supervisors. She remembered my name and took care of me personally right up until the moment I left the hotel. If I ever return to Ubud, I will definitely stay at this hotel again, and I will recommend it to anyone I know who is traveling there. This is more than just great service—it’s a hotel filled with genuine human warmth and compassion. Thanks to them, I fell even more in love with Bali.

Everything was amazing. My wife loved the birthday decorations and cake. My two daughters loved the wonderful staffs. Will definitely come back.

This was our second stay at Komaneka at Tanggayuda, and it exceeded our already high expectations. What was an outstanding experience the first time has become even better. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. Every detail reflects the care and quality the hotel is known for. The food is outstanding—delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great attention and love. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. Every member of the team is exceptionally professional, genuinely kind, and always attentive. Their warm smiles, thoughtful service, and sincere hospitality make every guest feel special. They create an atmosphere that is both relaxing and unforgettable. Komaneka at Tanggayuda perfectly captures the spirit of Ubud. The kindness of the staff, combined with the peaceful surroundings and the warmth of the local community, creates a unique sense of harmony that keeps drawing us back. We are grateful to the entire team for another wonderful stay and are already looking forward to our third visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, luxurious, and truly memorable experience in Ubud.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. You can immediately tell that the people working here are not random staff — everyone does their job perfectly, with incredible attention to every detail. The manager must be a true perfectionist. At dusk, guests are even given a small handheld reading lamp to read the menu — the fact that someone thought about such a tiny detail exceeded all my expectations. The restaurant is also one of the best I have ever been to. It is very generous and guest-oriented: for breakfast, you can even order two main dishes per person, and drinks, including smoothies and shakes, are practically unlimited. I have never had a better vanilla shake in my life. The pumpkin cream soup and cheesecake also made a huge impression on me.The warm-water pool was my absolute favorite place. Even pajamas are waiting for guests in the room. I think I will compare every hotel I stay at in the future to this one. It is far better than many five-star hotels from well-known brands. One warning: this hotel is so wonderful that it is genuinely hard to leave — there is a real risk you will not want to go anywhere else during your stay! :)

I’m very picky when it comes to hotels and resorts, but Komaneka at Tanggayuda truly exceeded my expectations. I’ve just stayed here for 5 nights and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel offers exceptional value for money, especially considering the level of service and attention to detail provided. The staff went above and beyond throughout our stay - every single person was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. What really stood out was how well the teams communicated with each other to make the guest experience seamless. For example, restaurant and reception staff coordinated with housekeeping so our room could be turned down while we were out, allowing us to fully enjoy our private pool villa without interruptions. That level of service is exceptional, especially for a smaller hotel. I also really appreciated the thoughtful amenities and little touches throughout the stay. The in-room snacks and cookies were a lovely surprise, and the smart TV and in-room speakers were far more advanced than I expected for a jungle resort setting. The location is another huge advantage. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Ubud every hour from 8am–8pm, which made getting into town incredibly convenient. At the same time, the resort is far enough away from the busy centre that it feels peaceful and secluded - all you hear is nature. The main pools were also never overcrowded, with plenty of sunbeds available and sunshine throughout the day. If I were being extremely picky, there are only two small things I’d mention: 1. The in room safe wasn’t large enough to fit bigger personal devices like laptops. I’m sure devices can be stored in a bigger safe at reception if requested. 2. The gym was quite limited. However, considering the resort’s jungle setting and focus on relaxation and wellness activities like yoga, this was expected. Overall, this was an outstanding stay. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful luxury stay near Ubud. Thank you Komaneka Team 🙏🏼
