A taste of Ubud
Amazing staff and hotel. The location is perfect for all activities - rafting, quad bikes and elephants. Staff go above and beyond to help you get the best price in sorting your itineraries. Local supermarket and local restaurant great value. Food in the hotel excellent quality and portions are huge! Definitely recommend.

A magical stay
Kupu Kupu is a fantastic resort. The villas are very comfortable and luxurious, and you’ll enjoy an amazing view of the forest right from your room. My little daughters really loved the swimming pool and the big bathtub in the villa. The staff is incredibly kind and the atmosphere is truly relaxing. We especially want to thank Brana, one of the drivers, who took us to visit many of Bali’s landmarks. You will absolutely fall in love with this place!

A truly exceptional experience thanks to Ngurah
We had a wonderful stay at Kupu Kupu Barong, and a special mention absolutely has to go to Ngurah, the Duty Manager. We had a great connection with him from the beginning. When we asked for advice about visiting, he went above and beyond to help us organise a wonderful day. What really stood out was his genuine kindness and personal attention throughout our stay. Thank you, Ngurah, for making our stay so memorable. We truly appreciated everything you did for us and hope to see you again! 🙏❤️

Wonderful stay & exceptional hospitality
We had a lovely stay at Kupu Kupu Barong. The resort is peaceful, beautiful and surrounded by lush nature. The property is showing its age in places, but still has a lot of charm. Our private pool was inside the bathroom, which was unique, although with a child, it would have been nicer to have an outdoor pool. Breakfast was excellent, especially the green chilli omelette prepared by the lovely lady every morning. ❤️ And a very special thank you to Ngurah, the Duty Manager, who was exceptionally kind, attentive and professional. He truly made our family feel welcome and well taken care of. The only downside is that the restaurant prices are quite high compared with the excellent local options nearby. Thank you, Ngurah, and the whole team, for a memorable stay. We hope to come back! ❤️
