Kupu Kupu Barong

We recently spent 8 nights here in Villa 10 with its own plunge pool overlooking the river and jungle canopy. The location was very peaceful and away from the madness of Ubud. The staff were pleasant, attentive and well trained to do their roles. Room cleaning was good although we had to ask for amenities to be topped up. The villa was spacious but in need of ‘a lick of paint’ but I think this sums up the whole resort area. Breakfast was adequate but standard fare and could have been better. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was very good especially the shrimp biryani in bamboo! The massage option that we had was excellent as was the location of the massage room. Rafting was also a lot of fun and included in our package. Overall we had a good time. Ubud wasn’t for us, too noisy and crowded with little to draw you in unless you like European restaurants and tat shops.

I had tango mango massage, girl was amazing. This is very beautiful spa, with excellent views. I will definitely recommend this place, girl who gave me massage was Sudarmi , i would give her 10 out of 10. This massage is good for health, she use mango oil.

We had a wonderful trekking experience with Darma. He taught us a lot about the daily life and traditions of the Balinese people, as well as about the beautiful and lush nature surrounding us. Darma is a kind, calm and thoughtful guide, and his serenity made the experience even more enjoyable. I warmly recommend him to anyone who wants to discover the traditions, culture and way of life of the Balinese people in an authentic and peaceful way. 😊

Breakfast team led by Karsana was very attentive. Food selection was varied omelette was outstanding.

Amazing view, warm staffs, simply great in all aspects.
