Beautiful location, very friendly service
The hotel is really peaceful, in the middle of the jungle with beautiful views over the Ayung river valley. The staff are all very friendly and helpful (especially the night manager, and Karsana at breakfast). The rooms are spacious and all have terraces looking over the view and their own private pool. There was often no hot water, there are lots of insects and frogs etc as you would expect for the jungle, and the food was pretty basic. The restaurant is expensive for the standard of food but there are plenty of better restaurants a short walk away. In general, I’d recommend Kupu Kupu Barong, but don’t expect the same 5* standard as you might get in the UK.

Room should be renovated and need proper interior !! Floor was sleepry !! INDIAN FOOD WAS GOOD CHEF DID WELL ! Just that menu should be more
