Peaceful jungle retreat
Wonderful peaceful location overlooking jungle river. Easy 15 min car ride to central Ubud and close enough to major tourist attractions in the area. Staff were genuinely kind and helpful, the level of service was outstanding.

I have stayed in many hotels, resorts, and villas around the world, and I can honestly say that Kupu Kupu Barong Villas provided one of the best hospitality experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. Throughout our stay, whenever we raised a question or encountered an issue, the staff not only responded promptly but also went above and beyond by offering multiple solutions and options for us to choose from. Their genuine care made us feel truly welcomed and valued. I would especially like to express my sincere appreciation to Duty Manager Ngurah. He was always warm, professional, and smiling, and he consistently went out of his way to ensure that every concern was fully resolved. His dedication to guest satisfaction was remarkable. As an unexpected gesture of kindness, he even waived the laundry charges for us, which was greatly appreciated. What impressed me most was not just the quality of the facilities, but the sincerity of the people. The team at Kupu Kupu Barong Villas made us feel at home and turned our stay into a truly memorable experience.
