On Bali's southern side, the coveted Seminyak Beach is home to The Legian Bali, a regal retreat within close proximity not only to nature, but the area's high end entertainment and shopping as well. Located directly along a prime stretch of sand, with the blissfully blue ocean as far as the eye can see, this modern contemporary resort houses 67 guest suites, 1 beach house and 11 pool villas at The Club at the Legion. Inspired Indonesian design surrounds you as you step into your personal space, richly accented with wood flooring and furniture, stark white walls, and dreamy fabrics. Superb furnished balconies are made for sunset cocktails, morning meditations, or sleepy afternoons in the sun. You are well connected with a pair of iPods, LED television, and Blu-ray player inside, complementing the more tangible assets like plush, canopied beds and luxurious down pillows. The resort features four single and two couples spa suites, ensconced by verdant gardens, where temptation gives way to indulgence through a variety of sublime treatments and massage therapies. Choose the Oceania Oriental Ritual to experience an aromatherapy foot polish, herbal steam bath, organic salt glow treatment, and wave massage—or opt to utilize the complimentary health club facilities and yoga offerings for a more active, yet equally renewing, approach. At The Legian Bali, your time is always spent preciously.

The Ocean Bar of The Legian Seminyak, Bali is the most beautiful place to see sunset in Seminyak. We go there to enjoy the afternoon tea and see beautiful sunset every time we come to Bali. Thanks to NOPI, EROS, MERTA and all the friendly staff of the Ocean Bar for your warm reception.

I had a horrible stay at the One Bedroom Pool Villa in The Club, with multiple issues: 1) There were a large number of pests in the toilet, and there were at least 30-40 flies at the same time (Figure 1) (some of them were actively flying around the washroom, some into my clothes and belongings). I called the butler to clean the washroom more than once, but the flies would accumulate again after two hours. Because of the gross condition of my washroom, I was forced to use the washroom at The Club outside of my villa at night. After repeatedly expressing my dissatisfaction, they finally moved me to a slightly smaller One Bedroom Pool Villa on the second night. This second villa had geckos, which might explain why there were not much flies there… 2) The staff at the resort were polite at first glance, but their service style was passive, rather than proactive and personalized, unlike the butlers at other luxury hotels in Bali who would anticipate things in advance for their guests. For example, regarding the aforementioned flies incident, the hotel staff did not offer any compensation until I complained multiple times, before they finally agreed to move me to another (slightly smaller) room. 3) There were also multiple service oversights during my stay. For instance, the Club benefit includes daily laundry service. However, the dirty clothes placed in the laundry bin were not proactively removed for washing, when the housekeeping staff made up the room in the morning. In addition, the Club guests are entitled to one complimentary minibar refill per day, but the housekeeping staff did not check the refrigerator at all during the morning room make-up routine, and empty drinks in the fridge were not removed or replenished (until I expressed my dissatisfaction). 4) The food included in The Club benefit, whether afternoon tea or evening cocktails, had very limited selections, unlike the executive lounges at the Rit*-Carlto* or Regen* hotels, where you could basically substitute a meal with the food offerings there. In summary, for a so-called Michelin one-key luxury hotel at this price point, their performance was completely substandard. The hotel management team lacked the initiative to remedy the situation when things went wrong, and service recovery was definitely not a strong point at the hotel. There are many better luxury hotel options in Bali to choose from at this price point.

What an amazing place! Very personal yet luxurious and the food as well as the staff and hotel area were everything you could wish for. I would recommend it to anyone ❤️

Expensive, but the facility and the people working there more than live up to the price tag. If we were to return to Bali, we would return to the Legian Seminyak.
