Mandapa, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

We had an exceptional experience at the hotel, and the level of service truly exceeded our expectations. During our stay, my wife unfortunately got Bali Belly and had to visit the hospital. From that moment on, every member of the hotel staff showed genuine care and concern for her condition. They consistently checked on her well-being, and even at the restaurants, the staff paid special attention to preparing food that would be suitable for her recovery. This level of thoughtfulness made a very difficult situation much more comfortable for us. We were also incredibly impressed by the hotel’s honesty and professionalism. After checking out, we realized that we had accidentally left an envelope with cash in our room. When we contacted the hotel, they had already secured it for us, and when we returned, everything was safely handed back. This gave us great peace of mind and speaks volumes about the integrity of the team. In particular, our room butler, Marka, took outstanding care of us from beginning to end. His attentiveness, kindness, and dedication made a significant difference in our stay, and thanks to him, we were still able to have a wonderful time despite the circumstances. Next time, we hope to return in good health so we can fully enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. Thank you again for such a memorable and heartfelt experience.

My husband and I checked in on Monday 15th March and will be departing tomorrow. We wanted a short getaway and was thinking of Bali. There are so many choices in Bali. We really enjoy the Aman hospitality through out Asia. However when we saw the beauty of this Ritz Carlton Reserve property, we decided to chance it. We were apprehensive as there would be not much we can do in the resort as it was very hilly. However to our absolute delight there is just enough to keep you busy yet relax. We have always one measure we ask ourselves on the final night. Will we return? That is a true measure of the success of the facility. The answer is yes... And we hope to return in October with the family for another stay. What sets this property apart? The views are stunning and equally important that each and every staff is well informed and warm. Our hostess Niti was an absolute bundle of positive energy and so quick on her feet. The spa was a delight that needs no detailing other that the smooth strokes of the Bali ladies keeps you in bliss. We spend time in the fitness center each day with the trainer from 0800 - 0900. I do no have his name but another positive character that gently pushes us. Yoga is everywhere. Morning is fitness routine for us. Followed by a quick nap then Yoga in from 1600 - 1700. Our day is just right. The food was a delight no complains at all and cocktails are so well thought through. Are there areas of improvement. Small and yes. In the living area there should be a little refrigerator and international plug points so that we can do our work and enjoy the space without going back into the bedroom. Our compliments to the team and the attention to details. Keep it up.....

My wife and I went to mandapa to celebrate our 10th anniversary and I’m glad we stayed here. The service was outstanding. The entire staff are always there whenever you need anything. They all made our stay truly remarkable. The food at breakfast was superb and even at kubu the mushroom rice was amazing. We are vegetarians so the chef even made eggless cookies and croissants for us. Gym & Spa services are really good. The drinks at ambar were really good and refreshing. Would definitely come back again. Special thanks to our Patih Made and Fervi at kubu restaurant. Thank you to the entire team at mandapa once again 🙏

What made our stay especially unforgettable was the exceptional care from our personal butler, Tapsir. He looked after us 24/7 and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. No request was ever too small — he handled everything with warmth, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness. One detail that deeply touched us was how he would quietly wait outside our villa before each activity or dinner reservation, ensuring we could move seamlessly from one place to another. That level of thoughtfulness made us feel completely cared for and allowed us to simply relax and enjoy every moment. Mandapa gave us not just a stay, but a memory we will cherish for a lifetime.

My stay at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, was nothing short of magical. Nestled along the Ayung River, the resort is a sanctuary of tranquility with its lush jungle views and stunning rice terraces . Every detail is meticulously curated, from the luxurious rooms to the exquisite dining at Kubu . However, what truly set this experience apart was the unparalleled service, particularly from our dedicated Patih (butler), Tapsir. He was beyond incredible, anticipating our every need with genuine warmth and professionalism . Especially I celebrated my birthday during my stay, and Tapsir arranged multiple times of surprises during my stay, including birthday cake, flowers and "surprise" during breakfast. Hope we can come back for another holiday soon.
