My wife and I chose Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with sincerity and warmth. The atmosphere of the resort is mesmerizing—lush greenery, peaceful river views, and beautiful Balinese architecture that makes you feel instantly relaxed. We were lucky to have Jeje as our Patih (butler), and she was absolutely incredible. She anticipated every need, arranged beautiful surprises for our anniversary, and checked on us throughout the stay with such kindness. Her professionalism and genuine personality truly elevated our entire experience. She made us feel cared for in a very personal way, and we will always remember her. The villa was stunning and spotless, the food was exceptional, and every staff member we encountered made us feel welcome. Mandapa sets a new standard for luxury hospitality. If you’re celebrating something special—or simply want to feel completely refreshed—this resort is perfection.

Undoubtedly one of the best experiences I have ever had. From the first time going through the gate, welcoming party, property description, accommodations, the food and bar service were fabulous. Jeje, made sure that everything I needed was there and then some. I really didn’t want to leave.

Our very first trip to Bali turned out to be one of the best experiences of our lives — and it’s all thanks to Nessa! From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel so special. Nessa took amazing care of both my wife and me, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Whether it was helping us plan the perfect day, recommending hidden gems only locals know, or simply checking in to make sure we were having the best time — she did it all with such kindness and professionalism. We’ve travelled to many places, but the hospitality and heart that Nessa showed us were truly next level. She made our first Bali trip unforgettable and left us already planning our return! If you’re lucky enough to have Nessa looking after you, trust me — you’re in the best hands. 🌴❤️

We were lucky to come here for our honeymoon and experience a real taste of the local culture. We were so welcomed on arrival and the view was absolutely out of this world just in the lobby! Massive thank you to our butler Dewa and also Kewin, for looking after us and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We also did the tasting menu at Kubu and Rita was excellent! Explaining where all the food had come from and it tasted stunning. We also did a romantic dine at the rice field and Ayo was so charming and funny. She really made our night! The chef was also amazing at creating such beautiful food. I would also highly recommend the Vw tour. August was our guide and Bendi our driver. We had the best time experiencing amazing views, rice fields, coffee plantation including tasting and an art school. Bendi took great pictures of us in the car so we can have something to fondly look back at. August was an amazing guide. Not only was he very knowledgeable on where he showed us but also happy to share his own culture which was fascinating. The food and waiting staff at Ambar and Sawah were also amazing! Everyones English was so good! We were both so sad to leave but would love to come back and see everyone again one day!

Difficult to be concise, as our stay but absolutely stellar… - Our « room » was a bright, spacious pool villa drowned in lush vegetation, plus a beautiful Balinese pavilion (adorned with painted wood paneling) for meals, a bit of work or a quiet read or nap, as well as a fantastic outdoors shower amidst Heliconia and Hibiscus trees. Mandapa is set across old rice fields overlooking a stunning bend in the local creek. Between the lush grounds, steep slopes and careful design, you never hear or see your fellow guests next door - Exquisite and fresh table at both Kubu and Sawah Terrace, nice jazzy and cocktail vibe at the Mandapa’s Japanese. For long stays, inclusion of breakfast and laundry, great perks. Chef Eka is a magician with his preset menus at Kubu. We were in Heaven: not only is he totally Michelin Star material, but he also takes pride in taking interested guests foraging in his own community 45mn away, where he presents all the fruit, veggies and herbs Mandapa orders from sustainable farmers. Our best day in Bali, a heartfelt bravo and Mqtur suksma, Bapak Era! - Impressive spa and great gym, yoga and sound healing sessions … - And of course all of this with friendly, warm and elegant demeanor from everyone: we were so impressed by the positive vibe at Mandapa. Special thanks to Ibus Mia, Nersi, Medi, Stevie and Bapaks Ade, Rio and of course the impressive Eka. Deepest apologies to everyone else for not having noted all of your names - The Mandapa is a Ritz Carlton Reserve property, of which there are only 9 in the world. If all of them are as special as Mandapa (now that’s very challenging), we’ll try to discover more. We were not even aware of this brand. A delightful Premiere for us. Matur Suksma everyone.
