Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa

This is our second time staying in this authentic Balinese beautiful resort in the past 12 months. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with extremely polite friendly and professional staff. Every staff member you meet couldn’t do enough for you. Yes the rooms are a little outdated however they are spotless, spacious and the beds are very comfortable. You don’t really spend much time in your room as the facilities are exceptional. The grounds are stunning. The food in all the restaurants is consistently delicious. We have already booked our next holiday here. Highly recommend.

O stayed in this hotel 29th June to 1st July 2025 with a group of 21 senior citizens.My room no was 1208.Others room no were also in the same series.Rooms no mentioned above are very badly managed.Very small toilets.bathroom could not be locked from inside.Dirty spots on tiles .Yellwish type of thing where tiles and floor joins.Patchy paintwork in the whole room.Very very badly maintained,Could have thought it’s only with my room but whole group rooms have same condition.Light in the rooms was very dim.We had to search where are the charging points.You have to pull a bedside table to plug in your charger. Yes staff was courteous-They listened to us but were helpless as maintenance of the rooms was worse .It seems no supervisor had ever gone to these rooms .

We had a luxury escape package here for 5 nights at the Club or Palace area. The package itself was excellent. The grounds and restaurants are excellent. The restaurants were outstanding and I cannot recommend them enough. Fantastic atmosphere around the pool and in the eateries. We have a couple of issues that could be managed better. First, the alcoholic cocktails are not that great. They were included in the package but we ended up avoiding them. Better training is needed. Next, only coffee machines at breakfast and at palace/club level. No barista coffee - stayed at many resorts in Bali and this is a first. We enquired about children at club level before we went and were advised at evening cocktail hour no children were allowed. We discovered otherwise. Most were well behaved but then a young boy arrived racing around at night, opening chip glass containers and taking things with his fingers, totally unsupervised. His mother ignored him and the sweet staff did likewise. So I sent an email asking again about children at evening drinks and was advised again that no children were allowed. Either the staff handle this policy or change the policy. And finally our toilet flushed by itself. Staff and maintenance crews came 4 times before it was fixed on day 4. Somewhere, i was told, housekeeping decided issue was fixed without asking us even though we were still saying it wasnt fixed. Not great practise by housekeeping. So fix coffee with barista; fix training of bar staff; fix your issue with children at the palace club level at night and listen to your guests when they tell you toilet is continually flushing - and you may get 5 stars. Four stars because your grounds are fantastic and those restaurants are simply wonderful.

The grounds are beautiful and the staff are lovely and friendly. The hotel rooms are starting to show their age. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The pools are great, however an issue with all the sunbeds occupied by 8.15am. It was very windy when I was there so the beach was not an option.
