This is a magnificent property from top to bottom. Location is stunning, food options are excellent and the staff are an absolute delight. Professional photo shoot with DreamStudios was a great offer and a very fun experience. Thanks to Kemal for making the family that don't take many photos enjoy the photographic experience. Cannot recommend Nusa Dua enough if you are looking for peak relaxation.

We had a wonderful week at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa at the end of November/start of December. It is a truly beautiful hotel with the loveliest staff who always greeted us warmly. On arrival at the hotel we were escorted from Reception to the Palace Club as we had reserved a Palace Club room (Platinum Members note you must be in a Palace Club room to access the Palace Club). We received an upgrade to a Lagoon Access Room that we loved. The room was clean and spacious with Balinese style decor, a comfortable bed with good quality sheets and good pillows (I’m fussy). There was a good sized bathroom with walk in shower and separate bathtub and plenty of room on the vanity for our toiletries. It was an oasis of calm and our verandah opened onto a lovely lagoon and pool with sun lounges and umbrellas that was only able to be accessed by the 16 Lagoon Access Rooms. We spent many pleasant hours in this pool. The main pools were lovely to visit but we were so spoiled not having to worry about getting chairs and shade. We visited the Palace Club for Drinks and Canapés and have to say we were extremely impressed by the food and drinks provided. A stand out was the Gnocchi with Curry Sauce - so delicious. Breakfast at the Palace Club was also excellent with great food choices, coffee and juices. We found the staff at the club so welcoming, helpful and friendly. An added bonus were the adorable ducks that visited at meal times and were quite vocal if they didn’t get a treat. Thursday evening there was a Management Cocktail Party in the gardens next to the club with music, special cocktails and once again delicious food - the beef skewers were to die for. We had a lovely chat with Robert the Resident Manager and were very impressed that he genuinely seemed interested in meeting and talking to the guests for more than 2 minutes. We managed to stop ourselves eating the canapés a couple of nights and dined at a couple of the restaurants (Maguro and Tamarind) and enjoyed our meals. We also had a delicious lunch at Cabana near the main pool. We heard good feedback about Rajahs so have put that on our list for next time. To sum it up, this is an excellent hotel and I could not recommend it more. We have stayed twice at the Sofitel next door and while it is nice we thought the fabulous Palace Club staff, food, and drinks and the main hotel amenities and staff mean the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel is our future choice in Nusa Dua. Can’t wait to go back.
