The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali

We came to the Oberoi on a ladies’ trip to celebrate a milestone birthday, after having a disappointing experience at a villa we had booked and ultimately had to leave. We honestly didn’t know quite what to expect, although I had previously stayed at the Oberoi on Lombok and absolutely loved it. I was thrilled to discover that this property has that same wonderful Oberoi feeling—just on a larger scale—and we could not have enjoyed our stay more. The setting is absolutely stunning, with the old-world charm of Bali that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. The property is expansive, with beautifully appointed villas and rooms tucked among immaculate, lush gardens. Everything feels peaceful, elegant, and incredibly well cared for. The pool is beautiful and serene, and despite the size of the resort, it never once felt crowded or noisy. There is really no reason to leave the property if you don’t want to—it has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. One of my favorite spaces was the gym, which is set in the most beautiful location, adjacent to the spa and surrounded by ponds filled with lily pads and flowers. The restaurants were all exceptional, offering everything from Western cuisine to local Balinese dishes and Indian food. We ate almost all of our meals on property and genuinely enjoyed every single one. The open-air bar is another highlight, with beautiful views, a relaxed atmosphere, and wonderful service. And the staff truly made the experience. From check-in and housekeeping to the spa, pool, restaurants, and even the garden staff, everyone was incredibly warm, attentive, and hospitable. There is a genuine sense of welcome throughout the property. After the experience that brought us to the Oberoi, we couldn’t have been happier with how things turned out. What could have been a disappointing trip became one of the highlights of our time in Bali. I will absolutely return and would highly recommend the Oberoi to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, authentically Balinese resort with exceptional service and a wonderful sense of place.

A truely wonderful stay at a fabulous hotel. The overall atmosphere is very relaxed and discreet, with spacious accommodation and very good facilities throughout the property. The pool area was very good with direct access to a clean beach, as well as a good fitness and wellnesss suite and good dining options. Very good location with easy access to Semenyak. What makes the hotel most special though are the staff. They are very attentive, courteous and go out of their way for you. We had a super family stay and will certainly return.

Everything about this hotel is outstanding: the beautiful setting, magnificent swimming pool, stunning beach, spacious and elegant rooms, and above all, the incredible team. The staff are truly attentive, caring and genuinely dedicated to making every guest feel special. Their kindness, professionalism and attention to detail are remarkable. You immediately feel that you are not simply a guest, but someone genuinely welcomed and looked after. The service is impeccable, the facilities are beautiful, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation and well-being. From the quality of the breakfast to the immaculate grounds and the exceptional level of service, everything reflects the standards of a truly outstanding luxury resort. We were also particularly touched by the thoughtful gestures and flexibility of the hotel, especially regarding our departure. These little details make all the difference and turn a wonderful stay into an unforgettable experience. Location was perfect, beach was very neat and clean though beach across indonesia are public but specific section was very well maintained. Resort was perfect place to hang out with family with activities planned through out the day within the resort, we literally stayed in the resort for whole 3 days. Staffs were extremely humble and polite, with room service unmatched, and rooms were done twice a day. No words for breakfast absolutely amazing.
