The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali

The Oberoi beach resort is a paradise on Earth. There is nothing one could want for, the staff are amazing, the food is fresh and delicious and the spa, gym and pool are delights. We have never had a better vacation anywhere. We felt extremely welcomed, were treated like royalty and the experience ensured that we felt safe and confident that our stay would be enjoyable. The villas at the Oberoi are first-class. Decked out in mahogany and teak with beautiful fixtures and lamps plus exquisite linen and towels it is beautiful. The sunken bathtub is decadent and the shower is a dream. The patio is a great place to sit out of the sun and have a glass of wine. The beautiful waterfall directly outside was very special and a great sight to see. We had two special dining experiences at the amphitheatre and were amazed at the selection and quality. The serving staff are personable, polite and very knowledgeable at all locations. The breakfast was a highlight of every day with pages of delicious, fresh, well-prepared taste treats. The Indian breakfasts were particularly noteworthy. The bar is beautiful also and the staff there were very personable and helpful. They all knew our names and remembered our favourite choices. Finally, the pool staff are very keen and extremely thorough. They always had fresh fruit for refreshments, cleaned our glasses daily, offered sun lotion and spritzers and even brought us sorbet at 3 pm! The concierge desk was extremely helpful arranging transport into town. The hotel maintenance staff assisted us twice with minor issues, very quickly and professionally. The laundry was wrapped up beautifully in a lovely presentation box on the bed after it had been carefully cleaned. The boutique offers very beautiful and unique Balinese gift items at reasonable prices. We visited several times and enjoyed their information and the cooling environment. The cleaners were very well trained, professional and extremely skilled at their jobs. We always had a fresh, beautiful room to return to after our stay at the pool. The turndown service in the evening was especially enjoyed by us. The spa attendants provided the highest quality of service and the massage services were some of the very best ever. The fitness centre is well-equipped, open 24 hours and was very well used by us to help keep us in shape during our 20-day stay. Overall, the Oberoi Beach Resort in Bali was the very best vacation we have ever enjoyed in the past 15 years. It is surprisingly affordable and the staff make every day memorable. We cannot say enough good things about our experience there.

What a place! Such beautiful grounds, everything is done with taste and care. The food is excellent, the housekeeping team were off the charts. We had one of our most relaxing stays anywhere here: the Oberoi in Bali remains in our heart.

The atmosphere are so relaxing and welcoming. The staff is friendly and they go over and beyond to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. The spa treatment was fantastic. Love the daily tea time with local music and art. After being on a Southeast Asia cruise with tours, perfect place to unwind and relax before going home!

I stayed at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali in January and had an absolutely incredible experience. The service was among the best I’ve ever had — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The property is stunning, spotless, and very peaceful. The room felt private and secluded with a huge bathroom and great storage. Dining across the resort was excellent, and the airport pickup was one of the best transfer experiences I’ve had. A true 10/10 stay.
