This place was perfect. The people, the room, the setting, the food. It's all perfect. We dont have kids, but lots of other people did and it seems like a great place for that. There are ample lounge chairs and cabanas on the beach and you can sit out there to your heart's content. The staff makes a point to be polite and helpful. We had an amazing time and even saw a MONKEY on our lsst day.

The room is tidy and quiet with good sound insulation. Check‑in process is smooth and efficient. Surrounding restaurants and attractions are easy to reach. A pleasant stay overall.

When we arrived, we were completely overwhelmed by the beautiful anniversary room setup organised for us by our housekeepers. The room was filled with balloons, rose petals, gorgeous gifts and keepsakes, and handwritten notes. It was absolutely breathtaking and such a thoughtful, personal surprise that we will never forget. The entire resort is stunning, the meals were exceptional, the cocktails were divine, and every restaurant on site was absolutely delicious. The service throughout the resort was consistently impeccable, with staff always assisting us so warmly and attentively. Even Head and Sous Chefs Ayu and Adi came to greet us personally while we were dining, which made the experience feel incredibly special. I especially want to mention Widya and Diantari, who made our mornings so memorable with their warmth, kindness, and beautiful energy. They always made us feel genuinely cared for and welcomed each day. Our final night dinner at Bejana was another unforgettable experience. The personalised service from Dwi was so attentive, and once again, we were surprised with beautiful handwritten anniversary messages and thoughtful gifts that made the evening feel truly magical. Thank you to everyone at The Ritz-Carlton Bali for creating memories we will treasure forever. This was more than just a holiday — it was an experience filled with warmth, love, beauty, and genuine care.

This is my second visit to Bali. I had been on a work trip in Singapore and decided to stop in Bali before heading on to a conference, and I’m very glad I did. The resort itself is expansive and impressive, with a wide range of room and villa types spread across a beautifully landscaped property. The scale of the resort, the ocean views, and the overall setting still make a strong impression. The current Ritz-Carlton Bali opened in early 2015, and the property still feels ambitious in both layout and design. I will say the arrival experience was somewhat mixed at first, as the original room had not yet been refreshed and presented a few issues. That said, what matters just as much is how a property responds, and in that respect the hotel’s senior leadership was sincere, thoughtful, and very hands-on. I especially want to recognize Director of Rooms Mr. Sukadana and GM Mr. Kondo, both of whom dedicated their personal time and attention to making things right. Their assistance felt genuine and made a real difference in the overall stay. Once settled, the experience became a very enjoyable one. The villa I was moved to was truly wonderful. It was spacious, peaceful, and beautifully laid out, with a long private pool in a lush tropical setting that honestly felt even more generous than my pool back home in California. The indoor and outdoor flow of the villa was especially well done, and it made the rest of the stay feel relaxing and restorative. Dining at The Beach Grill was also a highlight. The setting is beautiful, the seafood was fresh, and the service was attentive without being overdone. I would especially like to thank Chef Kajong and Restaurant Manager Putu, along with the entire restaurant team, for making the dining experience feel warm, polished, and memorable throughout. Overall, this ended up being another very strong stay at The Ritz-Carlton. What stayed with me most was not just the scale of the resort or the beauty of the villa, but the fact that the senior team took the time to step in personally and ensure the stay became an enjoyable and memorable one.
