The Ritz-Carlton, Bali

Wonderful experience. Beautiful resort on th Indian Ocean. Luxurious rooms and fantastic staff that go above and beyond to make you happy.

I cannot underscore enough how great the service was at Ritz Carlton Bali. We went to Bali because my 4-year old daughter wanted to for her birthday, and we stayed in the Cliff Villa for three nights. The Butler team went above and beyond for my family, Mr Baskara should be proud of what he's achieved with his team. Each reservation and request was managed promptly and with great professionalism. Jojo, our butler, showed great care in arranging activities for my kids and attending to our needs. He had the villa decorated in line with her birthday on arrival (5 Feb) and again on her actual birthday (7 Feb). Entering the villa, my kid saw the lawn and wanted to have a picnic. That whim was noted by Jojo and it turned into a full afternoon tea on the lawn with a puzzle mat and toys for the kids and bean bags for the adults. He even had custom-made t-shirts with my kids' names done with a hand-written card (and drawings) wishing my 4-year old a happy birthday. Before the trip, we asked if floaties were available in the resort (no, unfortunately but air pump facilities were available). When we reached the villa, Jojo had three floaties prepared for my kids to use. Just going above and beyond. On a personal level, he even helped with souvenir shopping and fitting in all our reservations for lunch, dinner, spa and resort activities wonderfully. As a final note on this - on check-out day, Jojo was supposed to start his shift at 4pm but came to say farewell to us at noon. Aside from impeccable execution, after every activity he made sure to ask if the kids enjoyed it. It really came across that his care and attention to ensure we had a good time there was authentic. Ayu on the breakfast team was very kind to my kids as well, helping to prepare a fruit platter when she found out it was my 4-year old's birthday and had a character pancake made. They also surprised us with a birthday song. The staff at Ritz Kids also prepared cupcakes and sang a birthday song for my kid, the activities were a lot of fun for her. My kid usually needs a little time to warm up to people, it's a testament to the Ritz Kids staff that they got on well immediately. The facilities were also great, my wife and I enjoyed the massages, facials and use of the hydro-vital pool and sauna. I'd recommend Bejana as a great place to have dinner, do not miss out on the duck. The villa was a good space, we initially thought the walk and elevator down to the facilities would be annoying but the view of the resort every ride down eased our minds.

I'm delighted to have checked into this hotel. Our family trip has been a perfect experience, especially thanks to my butler Pande, whose attentive care throughout our stay made me feel truly at home. We stayed at The Cliff 1-Bedroom Villa for our honeymoon, and it was a truly unique and unforgettable experience that sets this resort apart from any urban hotel. Upon arriving at our villa, we were touched to find beautiful honeymoon decorations waiting for us—a very warm and personal welcome. Our butler, Mr. Dwipa, was exceptional. He was always kind, reliable, and went above and beyond to provide us with the best support, including wonderful honeymoon surprises. We visited all the restaurants during our stay, and every dish was delicious. I highly recommend the beachfront restaurant; dining in front of the endless, crystal-blue ocean was spectacular. What moved us most was that every single restaurant prepared a surprise honeymoon celebration for us, making each meal a special memory. The entire staff was wonderful, always greeting us with warm smiles and providing professional service. Beyond the dining, our stay was incredibly fulfilling. Between our villa’s private pool, the main resort pool, the relaxing spa, and the complimentary daily activities, there was never a dull moment. The activities, in particular, allowed us to experience the beautiful culture of Bali firsthand. Thank you to Mr. Dwipa and the entire team for making our honeymoon so perfect. We can't wait to return!

We stayed in the Sky Villa 2 bedroom with private pool. The wonderful team including Jojo and Kaka looked after us and attended to our needs around the clock and gave many small surprises to the kids throughout our stay. It was a high quality and highly memorable trip made possible by the amazing facilities and friendly plus professional team at Ritz. Highly recommended.
