Beautiful but fading resort...

Our family decided to return to this family hotel a second time and were slightly disappointed in the end. Facilities remain good, service while patchy remains personable and always welcoming in nature. Some parts of the hotel are struggling to keep up on maintenance and the rooms are slightly tired and cracks forming. Pool decks are also chipping away and small parts were rotting. The main pool remains attractive though certain parts of the floor tiles are crack which need immediate attention. Service remains very attentive and personable though this is not uniform across the entire resort. Pool service is solid, dining at Beach Grill (Hen was our server) was great and the Lobby lounge was good. Miscommunication remains the weakness of Ritz Bali service; messy mixed up of in room dining food, etc These standards shouldnt be the benchmark. Ritz Kids club remain a good highlight for our children. The highlight and star remains the Executive Sous Chef Adi, who was a singular force by himself on service and food. If we would return again to Ritz...will depends on the continued hardware improvement and proper maintenance within the resort. Ritz has many things going for it as a family resort but more has to be done to earn back regular visitors.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton Bali. The room was spotless throughout our stay, and the housekeeping team ( Yudi & Wira ) did an amazing job. They were always attentive, thoughtful, and made sure everything was perfectly taken care of. A special thank you to Indah, our butler, who was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Also, props to the entire team for being so warm, friendly, and welcoming. The genuine hospitality from everyone we met truly made a difference and made us feel right at home. Thank you for such a lovely experience. we look forward to coming back!

Luxury Family - Kids Resort

This is one of the luxury hotel in Nusa Dua, I would say they have great atmosphere and ambiance. The service, locations are perfect and they have great Kids Club called Ritz Kids and I think this is the point plus when you are on family vacation with toddler. They also have direct access to the beach, so if you want to go to the beach you only need to walk a bit within property

Amazing staff, Kenji and team were the best. Best property I’ve been to in Bali and by far the best service. Highly recommend sky villa and every restaurant was delicious. Breakfest and Senses was amazing and we loved the gazebos by the water. Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels over the years, but every once in a while you come across a property that reminds you that luxury isn’t just beautiful rooms and impressive amenities—it’s how a place makes you feel. The Ritz-Carlton Bali was one of those places. One story perfectly sums up our stay. Every morning at breakfast, the team would remember conversations from the day before. Not in a rehearsed way, but in a way that made you feel genuinely seen. One morning, after a late night out, I showed up looking and feeling exactly how you’d expect. Before I could even ask, our server remembered our conversation from the previous day and brought over coconut water. Then he suggested peppermint tea to help settle my stomach. It wasn’t about the coconut water or the tea. It was the thought behind it. Nobody had to do that. There was no script telling them to do it. It came from a genuine desire to take care of people. Throughout our stay, there were dozens of little moments like that. Small gestures that, on their own, might seem insignificant, but together created an experience we’ll never forget. The resort itself is stunning. Our room overlooked the property and provided beautiful views throughout our stay. The grounds are immaculately maintained, the beachfront setting is breathtaking, and the pool is massive without ever feeling overcrowded. One of our favorite daily rituals was feeding the koi fish. It sounds simple, but it became one of those small moments that made the resort feel special and unique. The breakfast buffet deserves recognition of its own. I’ve had breakfast at luxury hotels all over the world, and this was among the best. Fresh fruits, juices, smoothies, local specialties, international dishes, healthy options, indulgent options, it felt like there was something for everyone. Another feature we loved was the buggy service. Whether heading to dinner, the beach, the lobby, or another part of the resort, transportation was always just moments away. It made navigating the property effortless and added another level of comfort to the experience. The dining options were excellent and varied enough that you could easily spend several days enjoying the resort without ever feeling the need to leave. Yet the location is also perfect for exploring Bali if you choose to venture out. What impressed me most, however, was the attentiveness of the staff. Everywhere we went, team members seemed genuinely aware of guests and eager to help. They remembered names, acknowledged guests throughout the property, and consistently looked for opportunities to enhance the experience before you even had to ask. There is luxury, and then there is true hospitality. The Ritz-Carlton Bali delivers both. By the end of our stay, we weren’t talking about the room, the pool, or the beachfront location. We were talking about the people. The people who made us feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated every single day. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family. Love from New York, and thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable.
