The Samaya Seminyak-Bali

Well our first time staying at the Samaya and have to say the experience, warmth and friendliness of the staff was amazing. Nothing was ever a problem and all staff went above and beyond expectations to make sure our stay was an experience we’ll never forget. All the staff remembered both my wife and I by name. Our stay at The Samaya Bali was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth, kindness, and exceptional hospitality. The resort is breathtaking—peaceful, luxurious, beautifully maintained, and truly feels like a private paradise. The accommodations were stunning, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The atmosphere was so serene and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Bali. What truly made our experience special was the staff. Everyone was attentive, gracious, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. The service was impeccable without ever feeling intrusive. The food was delicious, the grounds were beautiful, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The Samaya gave us the perfect combination of luxury, tranquility, and authentic Balinese hospitality. I would absolutely recommend The Samaya Bali to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in Bali. Our second stay within a year and it once again exceeded our expectations. We had a premium pool villa both visits, right on the beachfront. The villa is huge, perfect, and it was difficult to leave. The bed is enormous and so comfortable. The pillow menu means you can choose exactly the pillow of preference. There are 4 split ac systems within the villa, making it easy to adjust each zone as desired. 4 items of laundry were included in our room rate which was fantastic. There were multiple power points wherever you could want them. A complimentary minibar is restocked daily with Coke, tonic, sprite, water, and Bintang beer among other things. Afternoon tea is also included and wonderful. The options at breakfast were virtually unlimited. The staff make the stay. They literally can’t do enough for you. Thank you to everyone at the Samaya for making us feel so special and ensuring our stay was superb. We’re already planning our 3rd trip back so will see you soon.

This hotel lets you have everything without compromising. It is located right on the beach allowing you to enjoy both sunsets and breakfast with a view. However our villa was located in the courtyard (other side of the road) which meant that we had walking distance to the main shopping area of Seminyak. You need not to worry about the distance to the beach/ hotel restaurant and hotel lobby since they offer buggy service. Every villa has its own very generously sized private pool but there is also two main pools one by the beach and one in the courtyard. Despite the hotels central location it was still very quiet atmosphere. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to our butler Shana. The hotel also offers shuttle service in the Seminyak area, perfect for smooth transport to dinner reservations. We also had transport by the hotels own car to the airport which was a great.

We found the staff very unhelpful and one individual quite rude, it’s over priced for the villas. We have had much better experience next door at the Legian
