Wow, I don't know where to start but suffice to say 5 stars is not enough for this hotel. Everything was amazing, it's the best hotel we've ever stayed in, for many reasons, the main one probably being the service. The staff are incredible; everything is possible and it's the small details that make the difference (want breakfast serving in your room? No problem. Want afternoon tea early on your last day because your transfer is due? No problem. Whatever you want, it is possible. The best example of this was when we needed to change rooms after the first night due to a small issue with the pool. The staff moved all of our stuff to another villa and handed us the key, all we had to do was walk into the villa, every single item had been identically placed, right down to our toothbrushes, it was amazing!) In so many hotels you feel as though staff are doing you a favour letting you stay! Well, at the Semaya, you feel the staff are genuinely delighted to have you stay and want to do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. Karmaya the manager was wonderful , checking we were happy and everything was fine, also giving us recommendations for restaurants and trips. The Villa we had was just fabulous, it was very private with a large pool and a garden; the room and bed were both huge, and the bathroom was brilliant too, with a huge sunken jacuzzi bath for 2 with folding doors that opened onto the garden, and separate double showers. The restaurant was beautifully located, and the food was excellent, particularly the breakfast which was all made fresh to order rather than being the usual standard buffet - you could also have it at any time of day, which was very much appreciated when we had missed breakfast after an early start ... Once again - need breakfast at 4pm? No problem! Location of the hotel is excellent, it's right by all the Seminyak hustle and bustle but it feels quiet at the same time. I can't say enough good things about the hotel and the staff, they gave us an amazing honeymoon, I would recommend it to anyone

This was our second visit and was just as good if not better. The setting of the hotel right on the beach could not be improved and the convenience of the villas to the restaurant, spa and reception perfect. The layout, cleanliness and facilities in the villa are first class you can even watch television in the massive jacuzzi bath. Once again the attitude and attentivenss of all the staff could not be faulted - we were greeted as long lost friends. We will definitely return.

The Breeze restaurant is a beautiful with open views of the ocean. I came here to celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary and the staff didn’t disappoint. Lovely attention to detail and fantastic meals. Would highly recommend anyone to come here for a special celebration.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at The Samaya and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we were met at the airport and throughout our holiday, we experienced nothing but friendly and courteous hospitality. The hotel grounds are immaculate and the pool area is lovely to relax and enjoy the glorious weather. As a special touch, midday you are offered a delicious fruit cocktail and every afternoon a complimentary afternoon tea. The restaurant is excellent. So much so we didn’t want to eat anywhere else. We both had a massage at the Spa, bliss! We had a pool villa which was perfect, extremely spacious with indoor & outdoor rain showers, separate lounge area, pool with chairs and separate seating area. I can’t thank Karmaya and his team enough for making our stay just perfect. All in all I would return in a flash, one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

We stayed 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. Everything was excellent. From the accommodation to the staff I interacted with, food and facilities. It is a place that makes you want to return and that you can warmly recommend to others. I know that the experiences in Bali can be different, depending on the budget and the wishes that everyone has, but for us it was what we wanted. Thank you, Samaya Seminyak for your hospitality!
