Fantastic resort in a great location. The service from Karmaya and his team couldn’t have been better

We stayed four nights in a one bedroom villa in the main compound, and it was amazing. We were welcomed by Karmaya and his team from the start, and every single member of the team, from butlers, housekeeping, reception, and restaurant staff were very warm and attentive. We felt thoroughly taken care of during our stay. They graciously checked us in early, and offered a late checkout. The best aspects of Samaya are the direct beach access and view (the restaurant Breeze has superb views, and they have deck chairs lined up facing the beach), and the tranquility - it's an all villa resort so the deck chairs, cabanas, and main swimming pools never get crowded. I would recommend getting a villa at the main resort if you want easy access to the beach and beach views. Go for the courtyard villas only if you need more space (they're quite a bit bigger) and even more privacy. But note that the courtyard area is a 5 min buggy or 8 min walk away, and only has a swimming pool, gym, and satellite restaurant. The villa was amazing and very spacious, with a huge bathroom. The bathroom has an indoor shower, outdoor shower, and jacuzzi. The swimming pool is a decent size for two. All the TVs have Netflix, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime. Both the living room and outdoor patios had very comfortable sofa beds. The king size bed in the bedroom was lovely. The villa comes with all the usual amenities, though we wished Samaya provided comfortable bedroom slippers, rather than just (somewhat) hard sandals. As for the other facilities, the gym is well equipped and maintained, but is in the courtyard part of the resort. The spa is superb, with treatment tables facing the beach. The food at Breeze restaurant was excellent. We had a decadent breakfast - all freshly made to order. We highly recommend the Indonesian options! The villas come with a complimentary afternoon tea, which was very enjoyable even if not spectacular. We would certainly consider returning to Samaya!

Our first time in Bali with our 16 year old son. We have just spent 5 nights here before moving onto Ubud . We’ve travelled to many destinations and I have to say this place is the best we’ve ever been to. Stunning location and the villas are exceptional. Jacuzzi bath , double shower, cloakroom, separate toilet , main bedroom which is very spacious even with an extra bed for our son. Oh and who would possibly moan about having their own private pool. The management and staff here are the most helpful people you could ever meet. The breakfast which was included was excellent. 2 items of clothes per day per person laundered for free. Soft drinks and water in the fridge for free and to top it all 2 x person Balinese massages…….. oh and the meals are cheap and lovely we ordered room service a couple of times

We had the most beautiful stay at Samaya. Our villa was Devine! So big and luxurious. Breakfast included and bought to our room at a time that suited us was such a treat. The location was incredibly quiet even though it’s only a 2 minute stroll to the heart of seminak shopping. Food bought to the villa and at the restaurant was of a really high standard. Staff were really friendly and always helpful. Would absolutely recommend this place and can’t wait to return.
