About the Hotel

With an address like no other, The St. Regis Bali Resort brings barefoot sophistication and chic elegance to the soft, sandy beaches of Nusa Dua, the Garden of Bali. As the azure waters of the Indian Ocean gently meet the sandy beach running along the front of the resort, the sounds of the lush jungle behind fills the air, creating an atmosphere that is pure tropical paradise. The resort(TM)s private gardens, pools, calm lagoon and exquisitely appointed suites and villas feel more like a decadent private residence than a resort. The St. Regis is utter refinement at home, in the lap of a luxurious natural paradise.

Reviews for The St. Regis Bali Resort

Amazing experience

This is our second time staying at a St Regis, the first we stayed at last year was the St Regis in Bora Bora. I can honestly say this property is one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed at. This was such an amazing trip, I will be a st Regis customer for life. The second we arrived at the airport, we were picked up by one of the most luxurious vans I’ve ever been in. The seats resembled domestic first class plane seats. Due to my Platinum elite status, they graciously upgraded our suite from a Garden View Villa to a Gardenia Villa, which was incredible. It’s the biggest 1 bedroom suite I’ve ever stayed in. Two bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, bedroom, a “butler quarter” which was a small room they could turn into another bed if needed (for a Nanny or whatever). The patio and pool were huge. And it was completely private out back, we never heard any of our neighbors and definitely couldn’t see them. Truly a personal oasis. The butlers and staff go above and beyond every chance they get. They could not be more willing and eager to help with any request. We were celebrating our 6 year wedding anniversary and on the night of our anniversary we came back to a very romantic set up with roles petals in the foyer and in the bathtub. It was so sweet of them to think of that. I don’t know If it was due to my status or we happen to unknowingly book a promotional rate where breakfast was included. Since it was included, their welcome gift choice was either a 30 min foot massage at the spa or points. We opted for the massage and it was lovely! The spa is gorgeous, very zen. I regret not booking additional services throughout my stay. It’s located in Nusa Dua, which is a gated community of beach resorts. If you want a beach vacation in Bali, this is the place to be. Not all resorts are the same, and the st Regis appears to be above and beyond the rest. The beach at the st Regis is completely spotless and very private, you can venture out and walk around, but pretty quickly you realize the st Regis has the nicest beach in the whole strip. There is an adorable downtown area (called the Bali collection) where you can shop and dine. You are within walking distance (or their free shuttle service) to a downtown area, but the hotel is very hidden and private and away from all noise. We were on the fence with splitting our time between here and the Mandapa in Ubud so we could spend some time at the beach and some time in the jungle. I think the mandapa would be great but I am happy we didn’t sacrifice any time here at the St regis. We took a day trip to see ubud (monkey Forrest, rice terraces, waterfalls etc) and it was great. The hotel partners with a tour company (Jans Tours) and they are FANTASTIC. I didn’t feel like I needed to see much more than that, and at the St Regis our back patio felt like we were in the jungle so we did feel like we got the best of both worlds. The currency conversion from IDR to USD is insane. We were on a two week trip, first week to Australia and second week in Bali. We almost ordered a Landry service in Australia thinking it would be cheaper but when we got to Bali, we couldn’t get over how affordable Laundry services at the st Regis. It was around $5 per piece of clothing. We did laundry 3x during our 7 night stay. One thing that is crazy expensive here compared to everything else is wine. We happen to be in Bali at the same time the Indonesia- African forum took place where political leaders came to meet at the convention center in Bali. There were a handful of Indonesian officials who stayed at the st Regis, and it looked like a few from African countries as well who were all part of the forum. I find it telling that they chose this resort, I think it speaks to the fact that I feel this is the best one in the area. I genuinely don’t think pictures do this place justice. If you’re on the fence, book it.

I just returned from two weeks at the Saint Regis in Bali. A friend and I visited to reset, relax and have an adventure. This resort is outstanding in every possible way. First and foremost the people are extraordinary. The balinesian hospitality is top-notch. From the fresh and delicious breakfast every morning and smiles on everybody’s faces to the exquisite spa offerings.- the Saint Regis is spot on. We scheduled about a week of tours through their travel agency in the lobby and we were extremely happy with the results and our tour guide. We also scheduled a car to Ubud one day and it was reliable and spacious. Also, please note that the airport transportation is fabulous. From the colorful waitstaff and bartenders to the spa staff and housekeeping staff along with the Butler service and concierge you will not go wrong if you book your stay with the Saint Regis Bali. The grounds are magical: clean, lush, beautiful, tropical. The beach is phenomenal. The food was always fresh. There are several dining options from a beautiful beach restaurant to a cozy bar with live music. They had a nice selection of drinks and wines. I am very fortunate to have been able to experience such a lovely adventure. Thank you to everybody at the Saint Regis!!!!

Lovely ambience, best service and comfort

My Titanium Elite upgraded me from St. Regis Suite garden view to Gardenia Villa with private pool. Check-in at 12 noon, immediately given welcome drink, and cold towel. room is ready. The concept of St. Regis is that each guest can get 24-hour butler service, where the butler can help packing and unpacking, make tea coffee and even iced chocolate (unlimited, can be refilled anytime). Titanium Elite Welcome Gift Benefits other than free upgrade to Gardenia Villa are welcome gift 1000 points (can choose 1000 points, 30-minute foot spa or breakfast for 1 person but already get breakfast for 2 people initial rate), free late check-out until 16.00 and 2 scoops of ice cream for children. There is no lounge here. If you can't check in, you can wait in the library while drinking tea and chilling, there are various books for children and regular reading . Before going to the room, you will be invited to ride a buggy around the facilities at St. Regis. The buggy also provides drinking water. The Gardenia villa where I stayed is located in the middle between the hotel building and the beach, if you want to go to the lagoon pool, it's close, but if you want to go to the main pool, kids club, gym and spa, it's a bit far, it's better to use a buggy. The 411 m2 Gardenia Villa is equipped with a living room with a dining table, a sofa for 6 people and a TV when you enter. The color is a bit unique, a combination of brown and green. The impression is comfortable, cool and well maintained. To the right of the living room is a pantry and powder room. The pantry has a minibar, zinc, electric stove, coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator. The tea uses TWG, the coffee uses coffee capsules. Behind the pantry there is a maid's bed and behind it is a clothesline. To the left of the living room there is a room equipped with a work chair, television, and a 200x200 mattress. The mattress faces the private pool. Outside the villa there is a private pool, 2 chairs and a table for relaxing, 2 sunloungers, a garden, a shower, and a cabana for relaxing. It was explained that 2 hats and 2 bags in the room can be taken home for free. For welcome amenities on the table there is a St. Regis doll, a thread containing a drawing book and colored pencils, a St. Regis hat and shirt, 3 boxes of snacks (peanuts and 2 cookies), a fruit platter, and a babymoon chocolate cake. The bathroom has a walk-in closet with a cupboard, luggage rack, and hanger, closet, bathtub, shower, and 2 washbasins and there is a TV above the washbasin. Because we are talking about bringing a baby, a ladle, a baby bath, and a set of Johnson and Johnson shampoo soap have been prepared to be taken home. Unfortunately, the closet is not heated yet. Complete amenities are neatly arranged, towels are provided 3 body towels, 3 hand towels and 3 face towels. Facilities include a kids club, some are outdoor and some are indoor, in November there were quite a lot of mosquitoes and they formed the kids club per room so it was a bit cramped, and honestly it smelled a bit damp. Lagoon pool, well maintained, there is a whirlpool. The main pool is not too big. There is also a kids pool but it is small. Beach bar and access to the beach, Every afternoon there is a St. Regis champagne sabering ritual served with snacks (peanuts, olives, peyek), each guest can get a glass of champagne, followed by a fire dance with canapes. For the Spa there is an Aqua vitale pool with 12 refreshing, Sauna, Steam Room, and cold plunge. Take ice cream at the cafe, there are vanilla, coco crunch, caramel, oreo, pandan, strawberry, Sakura, rum raisin, chocolate, mint chocolate chip, coconut, mango, lollipop, dulce, coffee, yogurt flavors. Take caramel and chocolate. It tastes like premium gelato, soft and very delicious. If you swim, you are given 4 bottles of mineral water, facial mist, sun screen, and cold towels, as well as grapes. That night after returning from dinner, our room had been turned down, given 2 boxes of macaroons, and a body scrub and greentea soap, and rosella tea. For breakfast at Boneka Restaurant with a semi-buffet concept with an a-la carte menu can be seen in the photo, the specialty is that they have signature egg nouvelle (lobster ragout filled egg with salmon roe), Foie gras egg, river lobster egg omelette, and steak and eggs. I tried it and it was really delicious. The buffet menu is 1. Dimsum, noodle station, sushi, bread, pastry, cereal, dried fruit, nuts 2. Casserole, hashbrown, meatball, pineapple bacon, beef bacon, beef sausage, chicken sausage 3. pork sausage, pork bacon, cold cut, olive, salad, kimchi, cheese, salmon (really refreshing) 4. ice cream (vanilla, dragon fruit, spirulina, chocolate)

A serene gateway with luxury

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

My stay at the St. Regis Nusa Dua was exceptional. This property stands out as one of the most luxurious resorts in Bali. As a member of the Marriott family, I was fortunate to receive an upgrade to a superior room, which featured a spacious balcony. From the exquisite breakfast offerings to the grandeur of the pool area, every aspect of the resort exudes luxury. The expansive private beach, complemented by attentive cocktail service, was a highlight of my experience . I also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of providing flowers to each guest during breakfast, which added a charming touch to the experience. I look forward to returning in the future. Note: The St. Regis Nusa Dua is situated away from the bustling areas of Kuta and Seminyak, making it an ideal choice for those seeking tranquility and luxury. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a serene getaway.
