Tranquil Paradise
A very relaxing setting, super friendly staff. Nestled between the jungle and rice paddocks and a short drive from the hustle of Ubud, villas very nice with own pool. The spa/massage area is located down by the river in a magnificent setting to relax, will definitely be back.

Villa Semana is an experience of wonders - not often can you be swimming in an edgeless pool looking over the jungle and later from your own villa and private pool watching farmers tend to their rice field - wonderful staff … it was so lovely to come back to every day after exploring Ubud

A peaceful haven in the jungle
We stayed at Villa Semana at the start of our trip and it was amazing. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and the location is absolutely stunning. It’s such a tranquil haven away from the crowds of Ubud but with the shuttle service you can easily get into town.

Beauty of the ubud with warm hospitality.
If you want to experience true beauty of landscape in ubud away from market rush, this place is perfect for it. A place full of tranquility and humble staff during your stay is what you need for a peaceful escape. Rooms and service is good enough to make you pin this place for next visit too.

Best place to stay!
The villa was incredible with outstanding views! The staff was so hospitable, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is located right on the river, also with an outstanding view. Food was delicious! Location, great, close to Ubud center. I will be back for sure on my next trip.

Villa Semana exceeded all our expectations! The surroundings are beautiful - away from the chaos and noise of Ubud, overlooking a rice terrace, rainforest and gorgeous river. Joerge, the owner, is a wealth of great advice and information and can guide you superbly in what to do and where to go. The staff provide excellent and very pleasant service. If you can afford it, go for the Signature Suite - it is amazing with its own large plunge pool for swimming and private grounds and large terrace. It is heaven!! We came for a week and ended up staying two weeks!

We just returned from the 7-night Luxury Link package at Villa Semana that we purchased via Luxury Link. If you want the ultimate Bali experience, Villa Semana is the place for you. Villas are nestled in the lush jungle with either a river view or a view of the beautiful rice fields. The Spa treatments are superb, and each therapist is fully trained and very skilled. The food is just too good to be true. A very talented chef has created a varied menu to please guests from around the world. We would highly recommend Villa Semana to newly weds, nature lovers and anyone looking for a secluded vacation with personalized service.
