W Bali, Seminyak

We had an amazing experience at this W hotel. We received a warm welcome from the management and staff upon arrival. They treated us very well. The food in the restaurants were delicious. The facilities were top notch (gym, spa, pool, etc). We definitely will plan to come back. It’s a long flight for us but definitely worth the trip. Keep it up W!!

We must admit that we are quite disappointed by our stay in W hotel Seminyak. There are a lot of fantastic reviews in TripAdvisor but the reality is different. For such a high price, the standard of the hotel doesn’t match any of the other 5 star resorts which we stayed so far. Let’s start with the breakfast. The selection is limited for a 5 star hotel. It was also confusing who is taking the orders and serving us. There were always staff dropping by, introducing themselves and asking for our orders. We found it quite nice at the very beginning but at the end it was just terribly annoying, staff showing up and introducing themselves for nothing. Very strange. One morning, coffee came twice and our ordered fruits never showed up. The hotel only has one swimming pool which was crowded during day time. Not much of relaxed swimming possible. There is only one place for towels, so you have to walk a big round around the pool if you want to have a towel or change your towel. Strangely the two restaurants for dinner have only a limited menu. One is more for seafood and the other for meat. Both extremely expensive but the food was good when we tried it during our first night. On one of our days, we walked into our room and were surprised to find a staff member inside our room, who said that he is checking the room condition. Normal practice is that when any staff member enters a room, the door is left open, so the guest knows that there is someone inside. Please be aware that there is constant lounge music playing in the whole hotel. Quite annoying during breakfast when you want to enjoy the sound of the waves. On the positive side the staff were all very friendly and also the spa was good though also very expensive. In summary, noisy and expensive hotel not worth the high price, and not for a quiet and relax stay.

The motto of the W Hotels is "whatever - whenever" and this hotel and its´ WONDERFUL (on intent) staff certainly lives up to that motto. The rooms and the resort are meticulously maintained, staff is overly helpful and go out of there way to make you feel special and makes your stay feel remarkable. We stayed for 7 nights in an ocean view room on the top floor, took some massages, went to the gym, joined for the W presents TMPLE party at the oceanfront and spent many a day at the pool. The hotel and its´staff are really something special. A big shout out to Adi, but I could really have called every single one of the staff at this point. We will definitely come back again, and I dont say that lightly.

We stayed at W Bali – Seminyak from August 12–15 (3 nights, 4 days) in a pool villa, and it was nothing short of amazing! The Seminyak beach right in front of the resort is absolutely stunning, and the sunsets were simply unforgettable. 🌅 The resort facilities are top-notch, and the main pool was a fantastic spot for our child to play and splash around. What really made our stay special, though, was the people. Every single staff member was warm, friendly, and went above and beyond: Eka took care of so many details even before our arrival. Dessy welcomed us at check-in with a smile and helped us with restaurant bookings. At Starfish Bloo, Au was incredibly kind and attentive. At FIRE Restaurant, we were treated like family by Wira, Kristina, and Eddy. We truly appreciated their genuine hospitality. 🙏 Another great perk: if you’re a Club Marriott member, you get access to lots of vouchers and discounts (like 30% off dining). This made enjoying the hotel’s restaurants and bars even easier—less guilt, more fun! 🍸🍣 Overall, our family left with beautiful memories, and we’re already talking about coming back on our next Bali trip. Thank you, W Bali, for making our holiday so special. 💜

The resort was fantastic every detail taken care of, the concierge Rain is absolutely brilliant, the Balinese staff are the best so humble and polite can’t do enough for you
