The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore

Clean, comfortable, and a courteous staff. Close to all Inner Harbor attractions and restaurants, and a short walk to Camden Yards.

This was our fourth annual stay at the Sonesta. The staff can’t be friendlier and I was thankful that daily room service has returned since the pandemic. This made our week-long stay so much nicer. The location of the hotel is convenient to the harbor, Federal Hill, Camden Yard and many nearby restaurants.

We stayed at the Sonesta Hotel Harbor Court in Baltimore for our anniversary weekend as a surprise from my husband. Well the surprise was on me because I woke up with Pink Eye and Dermatitis Infection. They have white towels, wash clothes and linen in the bathroom and provide a dark cloth for make up removal. Trying to respect the hotels policy, I used the dark cloth to wash my face that evening to remove my make up. Apparently, this cloth was unclean and had been used by someone else and not washed and replaced by the trifling house keeping staff. So when I used it it instantly infected me. Of course, I did not know until I woke up with a Skin Rash and Pink Eye. Our stay was for 2 days for Our wedding Anniversary 5/30/25 - 6/1/25. I must say this is just awful all around and it ruined our weekend. First the customer service is lacking. We requested a microwave to warm up our food and never got it. And why don't they at least have microwaves in the rooms anyway because most places do. The heat did not work in the room and we had to sleep in hooded sweaters to keep warm. We let the front desk know about this and no one ever came to see about it. The toilet runs when it is flushed nonstop and makes loud noises. The bed felt like a stiff board and springs. The most uncomfortable nights sleep that I have ever had. Woke up with a back ache as well. We complained to manager in the morning. They assured me that I would be contacted by the manager and that this would be resolved. To date I still have not been contacted and no refund was issued to us after this horrible experience. Husband Booked on Booking.com.  Went to doctor right after check out. They never contacted us or refunded for the nastiness of their housekeeping staff or the ruining of our anniversary stay. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FILTHY PLACE!!

i will start with the good. The location is right on the harbor. Excellent walking quick parking quick check-in spacious room. this property has been around for a long time it used to be the intercontinental. the rooms have been remodeled, but it’s the same old infrastructure (e.g., elevators, room doors). no room service and no breakfast service.

I just want say my encounter with staff member (manager) Nico was truly amazing !He was exceptional so attentive! My stay he was more than excellent!!! We had a family reunion we had a wonderful time. This is our 3rd time coming Royal Sonesta …
