Overall, a good stay with an amazing location in a unique hotel. The good: the hotel design, location and staff. When I needed anything - an iron or ironing board, tea kettle and tea or mor water - the staff was on it. The room was nice and generally quiet although the lock was loose and the door could make noise if other rooms opened or closed doors. The atrium is awesome and the pool views are amazing! The average: the gym had great equipment and spacing yet I was bit by multiple bugs during my workout. The breakfast was fine, but the bread for the avocado toast wasn’t toasted and the lunch salad plus steak was overpriced. The needs improvement: the hotel bars - the cannon room wasn’t staffed when it opened and when it was staffed, there wasn’t any interested service while the main bar delivered fine drinks but smelled like stale beer and cleaning solvent. Also, once again the bugs in the gym. I really enjoyed the property for the cost, but a few items would make it great.

This past weekend, Stone Hill Hospitality hosted its first needlepoint mini-retreat at Pendry Baltimore—right in the middle of a Nor’Easter. On Sunday, September 27, guests gathered safely from across the country to learn canvas painting from artist and neighbor Jenny Henry. (A special medal of honor to those driving in from the north, especially Heather!) From custom canvas design and chart reading to aspiring local needlepoint shop owners, the energy and talent in the room proved completely storm-proof. The showstopper was hands down this pear toast with brie and candied pecans. It was the perfect savory balance in a sea of sweeter treats from the buffet. And the pumpkin spiced coffee station was such a lovely surprise with vanilla bedecked whipped cream and chocolate shavings. I was highly impressed with the presentation and the staff couldn't have been more thoughtful, quiet setting up in the middle of class, and mindful of every need. I brought the vintage Halloween cupcake picks that I think looked festive. The black gingham linen was mine from home. I’m so proud of the Pendry. I honestly had such high expectations and they hit every mark. I’m not just saying this because this was my event, I truly mean they did everything right. It was such a relief! There was enough food but not so much that it felt wasteful. I’m so thrilled and heard such great things from the guests. I could not be happier with all of the hotel’s hospitality. It IS my brand and they nailed it.

Sean in the Cannon Room absolutely made our night! Was out with a few girl friends and he was so attentive and kind. He made the best recommendations and the experience was a 10/10, no notes. We already can’t wait to go back and visit again and we hope he’s there!

absolutely stunning property with amazing rooms. The concierge and front desk staff especially made the anniversary stay memorable and we will be looking forward to repeat visits, cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Baltimore when looking for a night or three of luxury and relaxation.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The atmosphere of the hotel including the lobby and pool are really great. Loved the rooms, too.
