Always plenty to do in and around Fells Point. Great atmosphere wonderful staff, exceptional service. Rooms while small felt so intimate.

Terrible service all around. I feel badly for their staff as they seemed overworked, understaffed, and unsupported. But as a result they're all in bad moods and the service is terrible. Feels like a management, top down problem. Add to the fact that they're dealing with some unsympathetic guests only adds to their problems. (Not us, but I witnessed other guests expressing their reasonable discontent.) They were late past check in time and offered us a dining credit, but I just reviewed our "portfolio" and no credit was given. We're also "I Prefer" titanium members, and none of those perks were offered. Not even a water on arrival as we wait for the room or water for our ride home... these things feel standard at other comparable hotels. Also the interior design is not at all comparable to other Pendry hotel locations that I love and appreciate. It's heavily relying on the existing cool architecture and the rooms feel basic by comparison to their other locations (We were in a Harbor Suite). The pool is smaller than pictures and was over packed, standing shoulder to shoulder with other guests in a really warm pool, gross. Booked a daybed, it was not any different service or accommodations then first come first serve chairs and no guaranteed shade. Not enough umbrellas I was told when wanting shade. But it did guarantee us our spot, as I saw many families of 4 confined to sharing 1 or 2 chairs. So you will need to pay extra if you want to make sure you have a spot by the pool. They should have built a larger pool to accommodate the number of guests the hotel has or maybe limit the number of guests? Maybe if you go on the cusp of the season it would be less crowded and more enjoyable? Definitely don't go in July expecting a luxury pool day experience. Food was mostly ok...but the guacamole was inedible... brown mush with some hard un-ripen chunks mixed in. I seriously could go on and on about every disappointing interaction we had. It felt like a Courtyard Marriott and would have been fine if the price reflected that. I picked the Pendry over the Four Seasons because I love the Pendry in NYC and the West Hollywood location... but this was far from those experiences. I have not stayed at the Four Seasons in Baltimore but if I go back I would try there instead. Luckily my husband and I can enjoy ourselves where ever we are, and were laughing at how bad it all went. I never write reviews, but I feel like I should warn others because this was so far off than what I expected. Also... they included this link at the end of their survey... so thats my many cents on our over 3k weekend.

We reserved two South side adjacent rooms for two nights, six months in advance, so we can see he 4th of July fireworks. We contact the Pendry staff on a couple of occasions to confirm the proper rooms were reserved. Check in time starts at 3:00 PM and we arrived at 3:15 PM and the Pendry gave away our reserved rooms and acted like everything was fine. Our room request and visit to confirm the reservation was noted in their computer. I would understand it a little better if we arrived to check in at 11:00 PM. We had family and friends that were extremely disappointed. The customer service by management and the staff was unacceptable.Words cannot express how disappointed my family is with the Pendry. Thank you Pier 5 for providing an executive suite with 3 balconies to view both fireworks displays on the Baltimore Harbor at a more friendly nightly rate. Based on the none caring service provided by the Pendry representatives, My family and friends do not foresee spend another dime at any Pendry location!!

Outstanding in every way! We are just here for one night and I wish we could stay longer. The property is gorgeous and only surpassed by the excellent staff. We arrived very early so our room wasn’t quite ready. Terrace quickly stored our bags and we headed to the pool where we were greeted warmly and swiftly shown to two lovely lounge chairs. Service by the pool was excellent and the drinks and food options were wonderful. The shower might be the best we’ve had in any hotel room we’ve stayed and we run a tour company so we’ve encountered A LOT of hotel showers. We will never stay anywhere else in Baltimore and I wish every hotel could take lessons from the Pendry Baltimore. A++++!!
