If ever there was a way to compromise between cultural intrigue of Bangkok’s bustling streets and a relaxing retreat to one of Thailand’s coastal destinations, this is it: Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa, a 400-room resort that presides over the city’s main aquatic artery. Chill out in dense tropical gardens at the edge of one of the largest outdoor pools in Bangkok before a day on the town, returning to a room outfitted in Thai silks and warm hardwoods.

The whole Anantara team deserves recognition (too many to mention individually, as they all positively impacted our holiday). The Anantara representative who greeted us at the airport shone like a beacon of light through the myriad of faces. His customer recognition was amazing! Our driver confidently delivered us through the traffic to the resort. Seamless booking and check-in, remarkable breakfast team (outstanding service and chefs), excellent housekeeping (our room was kept immaculate), friendly, professional Kasara Lounge team, poolside service catered to our every need, Spa treatments were incredible. The entire breakfast Team delivered in spades! We wanted for nothing, the friendliness and level of service afforded to us by the waitstaff and chefs was amongst the best we have ever encountered. The expertise of the Spa staff provided us with a fantastic experience in a most relaxing environment. The kindness and professionalism of the Head Concierge helped to curate a much more personalised experience. We would not choose to stay anywhere else in Bangkok, and have no hesitation recommending Antara to our friends and family. We are already planning our next stay, and would like to extend our thanks to everyone who went above and beyond in helping to create yet another Anantara memorable experience.

Overall a good experience but a little disappointing due to slow chk in and lack of coordination in the staff. Location is excellent with a beautiful view of Chao pra river. The property is very green and enticing.Rooms are comfortable but beds were squeaky and needed upgrade. Not up to the mark for the price.

Such a wonderful hotel in Bangkok! Although it is a bit removed from the city centre, it is attached to the Avani building which has a 7-11, various restaurants, shops etc and you can also grab a boat or taxi/grab to easily get to the main attractions. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast comes with so many options! Probably the most extensive breakfast buffet we have seen. The pool is wonderful and there is a lifeguard on duty which we appreciated. Our room and view were fantastic. Overall a great place to stay, especially for a family trip.

We had a wonderful stay and are thankful. It's a great hotel with very nice, spacious rooms, great common areas, beautiful, peaceful pool with an adjacent bar, very good facilities (gym, tenniscourt etc), but what impressed us mostly was the service and the friendly and gentle attitude of the whole stuff without exception, from arrival until departure. The only thing that didn't met our expectations were the restaurant Long Tail. We also had dinner at Riverside terrace (buffet) with seafood and meat grill which was good but not super. Both restaurants are on the riverside and have a very nice and romantic atmosphere.

It was a wonderful stay. Staff & services were superb. Every staff member greeted us so warmly even when we were just passing them in the garden. They were helpful and thorough. The location, ambience, decoration are fantastic. Breakfast buffet was also awesome. I will return to Anantara Riverside Bangkok in a heartbeat. Love our experience there.
