A bit of a let down
The hotel is set in nice grounds and has a peaceful resort like feel. But it is clearly dated. And its room descriptions on its website leave something to be desired. I booked a junior suite and was pleased to learn that as a platinum level loyalty member I had been upgraded. So I was quite shocked to be shown into the room. It is supposed to be 500sqft and looks very well appointed on the web description. Apparently the upgrade was to a river view junior suite. You can make your own judgment from the photo, but the room is definitely no bigger than a standard hotel room and appears nowhere near the size advertised. And as for the view - construction site. Unless you crane your neck at the very side. Bathroom not updated since the 90s and the rest of the decor very dated also. I asked if there had been a mixup - but apparently not For the price and what else is available in Bangkok I felt very let down. But the staff were pleasant - hence the 3 stars.

Good hotel but good very expensive so we will likely try and different hotel next year
To me the hotel dining and food had become very expensive. The hotel itself is fine and in a great area but we will likely look elsewhere next year

Excellent resort hotel in the city
This was our second visit and Anantara Riverside Bangkok didn’t disappoint us. We loved the resort environment. Lots of trees and greenery. Staff at Kasara lounge were excellent as always. Breakfast had great variety. Clean room.

Great Hotel
Great hotel, superb staff, overall brilliant experience. Easy access into bangkok and do try the Tuk Tuks for a taxi experience you will never forget. Thanks again to all the staff and hopefully we will be back.

Rate 4 , well located property with fabulous views of the river . Hotel property is rather large . Rooms are decent but little dark inside , and plumbing seriously old
