Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful check in, spacious rooms. The shuttle boat gives you the best of both worlds- a resort feel with plenty of space and a large garden &pool, yet with easy access to the hustle and bustle. Concierge team especially Diamond were fab, the mall behind the hotel while not glitzy provides basics and was interestjng to look round. Breakfast buffet is amazing.

I looked for just the right hotel to take my mother, who lost our father in 2025. I wanted our stay in Bangkok to be perfect after she and my husband had had such a sad and challenging 2025. I was nervous about my choice, since I had never before stayed at an Anantara. Much to my relief it was an absolutely fantastic choice The hotel was perfect from our arrival to our departure. I find it hard to express just how happy an experience our six nights there was. The check-in was lovely and welcoming. The rooms were super comfortable The public spaces were gorgeous expertly designed landscaping. The plants and flowers took our breath away. The pool and jetted spa were soothing. No worries finding a lounge chair. The drinks and foot at the bar were delicious and served promptly and graciously. The breakfast buffet was a special treat every morning with a broad variety of Thai, other Asian and American-European selections. We were able to try new dishes but also had the option of familiar favorites too. Bobby and his team were so kind and attentive. Particularly with my disabled mother they took extra effort to make certain she was happy! We splurged on Christmas Eve with the ABSOLUTELY BEST BUFFET I have ever been blessed to enjoy. They had everything I love and more: Fresh French Oysters, Foie Gras, Sashi, Caviar, Beijing Duck, Prime Fillet Mignon, Ribeyes, USA Main Lobster and more and more and more. The Buche de Noel French pastry for desert was sublime. The French wines free flow pacage I opted for was amazing The servers never let my glass go empty over the two hours we were there. WOW wow Wow! The entertainment was Las Vegas/Broadway quality. I loved the Christmas show which also incorporated Thai culture. Christmas choir and Santa Claus along with Thai traditional music a d dancing. The artists seemed to put all their hearts into making sure we enjoyed ourselves. . The concierge service was 5 star. We had cars bookings and reservations made for us. They answered all our questions. Everyone’s English was highly proficient. I also left some clothing in our room after we checked out. The housekeepers forwarded it on to me at our hotel in Chaing Mai. I couldn’t be more grateful and they made it so easy for me. My mother had a massage which she loved at the spa. The entire staff was extra careful and kind to her. I’ll never forget it. There’s so much more I could write. I loved our time there. Thank you for exceeding my expectations and making us feel like royalty. I’ll never forget our stay.

One of the most run down premium hotels. Was a major let down. Feels like we went back to 80s. Really bad value for money. Much much better options out there

There are 3 C’s that are important to me when choosing a hotel for myself and my family when going on a vacation…Comfort , Cleanliness and Cuisine that completes my circle, but what makes it truly special and exceptional is the Resort Team. Anantara Riverside Hotel Bangkok satisfies all 100%, with Luxury. The staff is very polite and courteous and take their hospitality very seriously. They pampered us throughout our stay. Sofia and Mimi were fantastic! Mr Bee the Doorman was awesome! Mr Film at the Concierge was amazing! Miss Hana Front Office Manager was phenomenal! And the concierge gentleman whose name i cannot presently remember but he helped us at 6am making our departure flawless which we really appreciated. It is only right to mention the extraordinary Housekeeping Team as well as the Team in the breakfast area, and the Pool Attendants. The Sailors attending the guests with free transfers to some of the major attraction locations. Our bedroom was beautiful, with wonderful views over the river and the pool. We loved the luxurious bedding. The riverside terrace is where breakfast was served, overlooking the Chao Phraya river, the setting is stunning, scoring full marks in my favorite subject , the breakfast buffet - the ingredients and the line up of the spread are a class apart. We loved the Manohra Royal Thai Dinner Cruise, organized through Anantara, which we booked to celebrate our 10 year old son's birthday. We had an exceptional experience at Anantara Riverside Bangkok, which truly is world-class, and based on this exceptional experience, Anantara will be our first choice when booking hotels in other global destinations going forward.
