The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection, Bangkok

This hotel is amazing! I’ve waited since I was 11 years old to stay at this hotel and now at 28 I finally stayed here for four days, and the wait was well worth it! The hospitality, ambience, style, and food are the highlights in my opinion. I will definitely stay here again!

We just finished a six-night stay yesterday in an Athenee Suite. Hardware was excellent, really liked our suite and the bed was really comfortable, slept really well. Had an excellent massage in their spa and our dinner at hotels thai restaurant was really tasty. I like the location as well, it was easy to travel around Bangkok with sky train. Unfortunately hotel's service level was not what I expected. Our suite included butler service but many times our requested services like hot drinks to be delivered to our room either never arrived or arrived late after several reminders. Service was lacking in the lounge as well, forgotten orders, running out of food items etc. Strangest was that for several mornings they had run out of orange juice - would think that orange juice would be easy to get delivered in Bangkok. Orders were forgotten at the pool bar as well. Would also appreciate more sun beds as we didn't always find sun beds available by the pool and had to sit at the pool bar instead.

Today, I came to dine at Plaza Athénée Hotel with my family. Khun Stang and Khun Bow provided excellent service, and we were very impressed. They were attentive and always came to serve our food. Khun Bris kindly refilled our drinks and checked on our meals throughout our visit. This time, we were truly impressed with the service. I would also like to mention Khun Bad. The last time we dined here, Khun Bad also provided excellent service. He always had a warm smile, even when walking long distances and carrying heavy items.

We love staying at Hotel Athenee whenever in BKK. World class service. Recently our daughter had a birthday during our stay and the staff helped us plan every detail and we ended up having a unforgettable birthday party by the hotel pool. This hotel looks very elegant. Location is excellent. It's walking distance to the train station, shops and restaurants. We were checked in at the lounge area. The welcome tea was so refreshing. The staff were very accommodating. The size of the room was big. It was always clean. Toiletries, linen and towels were all luxurious. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices. We had dinner at The House of Smooth Curry. The food tasted fresh. The staff were always nearby for any questions. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.
