The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection, Bangkok

We visitied Athenee hotel to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. The room was beautifully decorated with flowers for our special occasion. The staff was super kind and helpful. We also attended "Vogae to Our Local Roots" - a quick tour of the hotel to learn its history. At the end of the tour, we visited a suite room and had an opportunity to take picutres in Thai traditional costume. Gap, who was our guide, was very kind and took nice pictures of us. We received our photo in a cute photo frame! This became our favorite souvenir from Bangkok. (Thanks again, Gap!) We loved this hotel, but the food selection at the breakfast restaurant and executive lounge could be improved - as there are many good other options already in Bangkok!

Our team has dinner party at Hotel Plaza Athenee today. Great Food. Excellent Service with hotel team staff, especially Khun Panida & Khun Jean who taking a very good care of us. All excellent service. We will come back again ka.

I visited The Rain Tree Cafe at the afternoon today. Khun Natnicha is the service assistant in the restaurant. She was very nice and kind support us during our Brunch with my family. The food was incredible especially sashimi which was very fresh. In overall, I appreciated here and will definitely visit again.

The Athenee Bangkok is only a couple of metres walk to BTS Phloen Chit station, one of the most prestigious business locations in Bangkok with plenty of shopping and dining venues near-by. Welcome was absolutely friendly, and all of the door and front desk team members were extremely friendly and attentive. Our room was held in standard five-star design, pleasant and perfectly clean. Our view of the Phloen Chit skyline was not spectacular, but very nice. Our dinner at the House of Smooth Curry surpassed our expectations, regarding both meal quality and service. The welcome at breakfast fell short of the previous experiences, as we had to sign a form to declare that we had been admitted to the restaurant. Even though selection was huge, quality did not meet our expectations, especially the coffee was of questionable standard. Unfortunately, the public restrooms were not clean. Finally, the Check-Out was far more technical and not super friendly, especially compared to the overwhelming welcome. Still, our overall impression was absolutely positive and we are definitely considering to come back.

They even surprised us with a birthday cake, which was very touching and memorable. The hotel is spotless and filled with a pleasant jasmine fragrance. The swimming pool is beautiful and peaceful. If I have the chance, I will definitely return again.
