The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection, Bangkok

Great breakfast with the family also stay and had meeting in the hotel. Breakfast varieties daily we enjoy very much. Swimming pool is beautiful and perfect landscape. Appreciated Marisa, Nong and Luck at lobby services always offered help. We will come back for dinner soon

Although I enjoy staying at the Athenee Bangkok hotel and this is my second visit, I hope to see some improvements in the future. I booked my room through the Marriott Stars program, which promised a welcome gift and a personalized greeting card from the General Manager. Unfortunately, these amenities were not delivered as expected. In the executive lounge, the staff appeared quite busy and missed several drink orders. Their service felt less attentive compared to my previous visit, and I noticed that some of the exceptional team members I remembered are no longer with the hotel. That said, the hotel still shines with its stunning swimming pool and elegant lobby—both beautifully reflective of Thai cultural design and truly iconic. I hope my next stay will be more memorable, with the service matching the hotel’s exceptional ambiance

Athenee is like my second home. Most of the staff know me and treat me like an old friend. Service is warm and impeccable. A special shout out to Khun Marisa who is always leading the way when it comes to great hospitality. Facilities are meticulously maintained. I am spoilt for choice when it comes to quality food at Athenee, from high end dining at Allium to casual eats at Raintree. Overall, a wonderful hotel in the heart of Bangkok.

Marisa and breakfast team are exceptional and the breakfast is great. Room service is excellent and always on time. Will stay again.

The last time I was a guest here was some 16 years ago back it was known as The Plaza Athenée under the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) banner. Now, under Marriott Bonvoy, I decided to return to reacquaint myself with the property. To my surprise, it is still very well maintained & the staff were as wonderful, if not more, than before. I'm a Platinum Life/Titanium Bonvoy member now. I get the occasional upgrade to a suite, but this time, I didn't. It's okay as I get treated like royalty anyway. From the doorman to the check in staff to the executive lounge team - they were all fantastic. All new staff faces I've never met, yet we talk like old friends. All the familiar faces I was used to have all gone, yet I managed to make friends with meaningful connections. I was particularly impressed with PHRAE & her team of diligent & friendly staff at the executive lounge. They were very attentive without being intrusive. I felt welcomed as they extended their warm hospitality, making alternative arrangements with the food offerings due to my religious dietary restrictions. They showed flexibility & generosity. I'm so glad to be back here. I hope to return, this time with an automatic upgrade like the Titanium status promised.
