Our experience at the Capella Bangkok was truly exceptional. The hotel’s facilities are world-class, elegant, and perfectly maintained — but what really makes the difference is the warmth and professionalism of the entire staff. Every detail, every smile, and every gesture reflected genuine hospitality. Without a doubt, Capella Bangkok deserves to be among the very best hotels in the world. I had an amazing evening at Stella, Capella Bangkok. The place is elegant, cozy, and full of character. The drinks were beautifully crafted A special thanks to Lee,Ice,May, Frank,Yok and Matcha for their warm hospitality and great attention to detail. They made us feel truly welcome and taken care of throughout the night. Highly recommend visiting Stella if you’re looking for a sophisticated yet relaxed cocktail experience in Bangkok. I’ll definitely come back again soon!

A Remarkable Stay and Event Experience at Capella Bangkok

I was recently fortunate to stay and host an event at the stunning Capella Bangkok. Our arrival and room were absolutely wonderful, and throughout the stay, the Culturists Netty and Sandy went above and beyond to make everything seamless, including ensuring my tuxedo was ready just in time for the big evening! The gala dinner in the ballroom, hosting over 200 guests, was outstanding. Under the leadership of F&B Director Jeffrey and Chef Thierry, the food and service were exceptional; many guests raved about the quality. At my table, Dew Sutthinon and Oat Surachai Pengpinyo provided truly excellent, attentive service throughout the evening. Congratulations to General Manager Antonio and his team for running such an extraordinary operation. I look forward to the next opportunity to either work with or simply return to Capella Bangkok for leisure!

Nice... But the Four Season Bangkok is better.

We have previously stayed at both Capella Sydney and Capella Hanoi, and on both occasions were extremely impressed by the exceptional service and high standard of the hotel facilities. Naturally, this set a high expectation for our recent stay at Capella Bangkok. Unfortunately, our experience fell considerably short of the standards we have come to associate with the Capella brand. We arrived on an early flight and departed late the following day, so when our room was not ready until after 4:30 p.m. and we were unable to secure a late check-out, it had a greater impact on our stay than it might have otherwise. There also appeared to be a consistent shortage of staff, particularly at the hotel entrance. On several occasions, there was no one available to greet arriving guests or assist with transportation when leaving the property — something that felt out of character for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, our experience with the WhatsApp guest messaging service was disappointing. If the service is not automated, I would be concerned about the lack of attentiveness and understanding displayed. Prior to arrival, I asked whether an airport transfer had been arranged, as I couldn’t recall the details of our initial booking. The response provided various transport options and requested our flight details, implying that no transfer had been organized. Based on that information, I arranged separate transportation through a third-party service we had used earlier in the month during our stay at the Four Seasons Bangkok. Upon arrival, I received a call from the hotel advising that a driver was waiting for us at the airport — by which time we were already en route in another vehicle. When I explained the situation, I was made to feel at fault and was even asked to pay for the unused transfer upon checkout. After showing the message exchange, the staff agreed that I should not be charged and adjusted the bill accordingly, which I appreciated. Regrettably, the overall experience left a negative impression and has made us hesitant to consider returning to Capella Hotels in the future. Earlier in the month, we stayed at the Four Seasons Bangkok, where the service felt far more personalized — from being warmly welcomed back by the hotel manager to thoughtful welcome gifts and exceptional attention to detail throughout our stay. Given their similar location, I would be inclined to stay at the Four Seasons again, as the level of service and genuine hospitality there was truly outstanding.
