This fantastic property got all the "big things" right. Though, it was their meticulous attention to even the smallest details that made them stand out to me. From the ambiance to the different scents in various spaces. The cuisine on offer was top notch. I had a view of the river and found that very cathartic. Simply put, this an impeccable space with all the right touches. Please, treat yourself to being a guest of this fine establishment.

We visited initially 6 months ago during our trip to Bangkok and our friend recommended the spa at Capella Bangkok. We were to amazed at the customer experience from the moment you step out of the taxi to the time you leave. It left such an impression on us that we just had to stay at Capella the next time we visited Bangkok. Capella Bangkok is the ideal type of hotel for us where you can enjoy your time with permeating air of tranquility. You can escape the hustle and bustle and just switch off and relax. It is located by the riverbank and there is easy and quick access to Iconsiam with a free riverboat. It was roughly an hour by taxi from BKK airport (largely due to traffic). I was informed that during out stay Capella was at 80% capacity but it felt like my home away from home, and I had it all to myself. The place is spotless and peaceful. The hard products are exceptional, and the neutral colour scheme helps with the sense of tranquility. It is clear that great thought has been put into making this space a beautiful getaway. We stayed in the Riverfront Premier King which could be considered a suite at other establishments. But where Capella Bangkok really shines is in the soft products. The staff are so kind and so attentive. Often they can read a situation and proactively address something before you even realised you needed something. All the “culturalists” or in other words an army of butlers is what makes the stay magical. I never felt any task was too big too ask, they genuinely always wanted to help, and if they could not they would find an alternative. Thank you we love you all and really enjoyed getting to know you all. Having said this, my partner and I want to make a special mention to Ploy and also Army (receptionist at Auriga Wellness) who truly stood out and went beyond the extra mile. We will never forget you and I hope to see you all next time!

Capella Bangkok is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen, and the Verandah Suite made the stay feel truly special. From the moment the property comes into view from the river, everything feels calm, elegant, and incredibly refined. The building itself is striking in a very understated way, surrounded by greenery and facing the Chao Phraya with a sense of quiet confidence. It feels luxurious without trying too hard. The arrival area and lobby are absolutely stunning. The interiors are spacious, polished, and beautifully designed, with warm lighting, rich marble floors, and a level of detail that immediately stands out. One of the most memorable features for me was the dramatic staircase and the chandelier installation flowing through the space — it gives the hotel a strong sense of identity and sophistication. The outdoor areas are just as impressive. The long water features, landscaped gardens, and especially the riverside pool create such a peaceful atmosphere. For a hotel in Bangkok, it feels incredibly serene. The pool area looks refined, open, and relaxing, with a beautiful balance between the city skyline and the greenery around it. The Verandah Suite was the true highlight. It is spacious, tasteful, and filled with natural light. The design feels soft, warm, and elegant, with a very residential sense of comfort. What makes this suite exceptional is the connection to the outdoor terrace. The private space is large, beautifully furnished, and comes with a private plunge pool or jacuzzi overlooking the river and skyline. It gives the suite a feeling of privacy and exclusivity that is hard to describe until you see it for yourself. The bathroom is also outstanding — spacious, beautifully finished, and very luxurious without feeling excessive. The freestanding tub, double vanity, dressing area, and warm materials all make the space feel calm and indulgent. Every corner of the suite feels thoughtfully designed. Another thing I loved was how consistent the aesthetic is throughout the hotel. From the lounge spaces to the boutique area, from the riverside terraces to the room details and welcome setup, everything feels curated and cohesive. There is a real sense of harmony in the design. In the evening, the riverside setting becomes even more special. The outdoor dining atmosphere by the water is beautiful, especially with the city skyline in the distance and the soft lights reflecting along the river. It is one of those places that feels both romantic and peaceful at the same time. What impressed me most about Capella Bangkok is its sense of restraint and balance. It does not rely on overstatement. Instead, it creates luxury through space, light, materials, privacy, and atmosphere. That is much harder to achieve, and Capella Bangkok does it exceptionally well. The Verandah Suite is, without question, one of the most memorable suites I have seen in Bangkok. Capella Bangkok is not just a luxury hotel — it is a beautifully crafted riverside retreat that leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended, and absolutely deserving of a 5-star review.
