I booked this hotel through the American Express Hotel Collection. After booking, my plans changed, and I was unable to go. My daughter and her friends still planned to make the trip. I chatted with AmEx to see if my daughter (who is an authorized user on my AmEx platinum card) could check in without me. The AmEx agent contacted the property directly and was told that my daughter could check in without me and all benefits of the Hotel Collection would still be honored. If they had told me that the benefits would not be honored, I would have cancelled my reservation and rebooked in her name. (The price was still the same). When she checked in, they told her she would not receive the credit. I chatted with AmEx again, which reviewed the prior chat and saw that this was not what the property told us earlier. The AmEx agent called the property again and was told again that they would honor the benefits and apply the credit. Despite having told AmEx and me TWICE that the benefits would be honored, the property did not apply the credit to my daughter's bill. I emailed the property directly after the stay and was told (falsely) that they had never agreed to do so. This is not what 2 AmEx agents told me. I will never book this dishonest property again and encourage others to avoid it as well.

We have just checked into Conrad Bangkok for a 12-night family stay, and our first impressions of the hotel are mostly positive with ONE MAJOR ISSUE. The front desk team—particularly a kind and welcoming French staff member from Lyon—has been excellent, and the pool and breakfast staff have also been very friendly and professional. The team working the Executive Lounge is also wonderful. However, an issue arose regarding our room setup. My wife was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and had a chemotherapy port inserted into her body, which we explained clearly to the front desk team. We requested a rollaway bed to make the sleeping arrangement safe and practical for our family. We spoke with a supervisor named Soy, and My wife even showed her the Chemotherapy port, who acknowledged the situation but still required us to pay a nightly fee for the rollaway bed, even after reducing the charge slightly. This response has left us disappointed, and sad at the start of what we had hoped would be a special, and memorable stay. Not sure this is worth losing a future guest over with so many wonderful options in Bangkok. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principal.

Kan gave me a fantastic 60-minute Thai massage at the Conrad Spa. She was very attentive, worked out all my knots, and made the whole experience relaxing and comfortable. Great customer service and I would definitely recommend booking with her.

My companion and I stayed at the Conrad Bangkok twice during our recent travels, and we were completely blown away by the unmatched hospitality. The team here didn’t just provide excellent service; they felt like genuine friends from the moment we arrived. The Magic of the Guest Relations & Front Desk Team During the first part of our stay, Nicky (the incredible Duty Manager) and Emma went completely out of their way to surprise us. In the most darling, generous way, they let us know that they had arranged an upgrade for our return visit so we could experience the 31st floor and the Executive Lounge. When we checked in for our second stay, we missed them at the desk, but about an hour later, Nicky actually called our room just to say, "You promised you would come visit!" I went downstairs and ended up standing at the counter chatting with the team for over half an hour. They beautifully balanced taking care of other guests while showing true, authentic interest in our lives and my work as a teacher. A special shout-out to Lalita for being so incredibly funny, kind, and engaging during our front desk conversations—and ooh, she was so mysterious! I also want to deeply thank the rest of the phenomenal team who made us feel so welcome and looked after: Fleur, Kik, Eve, Kevin, Ayelyn, Toon, and Pea. You are all so wonderfully genuine. A Resort-Like Pool Oasis The pool area at the Conrad is absolutely spectacular and feels like a true resort tucked away in the city. The pool staff were wonderful, and the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. One of my favorite memories of the trip is simply lying on my back, floating in the water, and looking up at the towering, amazing buildings against the beautiful, clear blue sky we enjoyed during our stay. The 29th Floor Executive Lounge Experience The upgrade to the Executive Lounge completely elevated our trip. The lounge team always looked out for us, making sure we were seated at one of the window tables where the view of Bangkok is absolutely magnificent and fills you with awe. The food was spectacular—the evening canapés were delicious, and they went above and beyond to offer amazing mocktails since I don't drink alcohol. Also, the breakfast experience was the best buffet we had the whole trip! The physical beauty of the Conrad Bangkok is undeniable, but it is the authentic kindness, generosity, and heart of the staff that makes it a world-class destination. We will absolutely be back. Thank you all for making us feel like family!

I had a three night stay at the Conrad Bangkok, a hotel I have stayed at frequently. Once again, the Conrad Bangkok delivered consistently good service. The Executive Lounge offered great snacks at afternoon tea and cocktail hour, and the breakfast buffet at Cafe@2 continues to update its offering, this time offering the classic Thai dessert mango sticky rice that can be ordered from staff. As usual, the staff at Cafe@2 recognized me as a returning guest and provided attentive service and Khun Game, always bold, consistently engaged guests in conversation. Similarly service in the Executive Lounge was excellent and staff there seemed to be constantly helping guests deal with all manners of inquiries. I had to print out VAT refund forms and staff at the Executive Lounge took care of that for me. The hotel is very convenient because it shares a frequent shuttle bus service with the adjoining office building to the BTS skytrain station at Ploen Chit. There is a large outdoor pool, tennis courts and a large gym with a wide range of weight training and cardio equipment. I was upgraded to a renovated room based on my Hilton Honors Diamond status. However the first room I was assigned to faced directly at the Conrad Residence and was very close to that other building making it a bit uncomfortable to stare into the room right across from mine, and also had no storage drawers and no storage shelf in the closet unlike all the standard Conard Bangkok rooms so I requested a change of room and front desk was very helpful in making a change for me. I believe my original room number ended in 08 and was located at one end of the hotel building. I keep coming back to the Conrad Bangkok because it is usually very well priced for its offerings and has consistently excellent service all around. It is also a convenient location in Bangkok so an oldie, but a goodie.
