Beautiful experience.

Fantastic experience. Loved the spa as well, Wariss did wonders for a stiff back from a long flight.

Five-Star Experience Throughout – Highly Recommended

This should be in the top 10 of hotels in Bangkok. I loved it. Well, what can I say? Utterly faultless. Service - impeccable. Room - perfect. Executive Lounge - outstanding. Pool/fitness - superb. This really is the perfect hotel for business or pleasure. The majority of the hotel has been refurbished to a wonderfully high standard with a few bits still needing updating in general, but that didn’t detract from it being a stunning hotel. Room We initially stayed in a premium corner room which was an upgrade from our original room due to being Diamond. It was a really decent size and allowed my partner to work from the room easily. If I had any criticism at all about the room, it would be the shutters in the bathroom. The rest of the room is completely pitch black from the blackout blinds, but these do let quite a bit of light in. This however didn’t detract too much from a fantastic night’s sleep, gorgeous signature bedding and choice of pillows. The bathroom was well—appointed with a gorgeous bath, shower and sink area. The room also had a small walk-in wardrobe which was great for our cases and to manage our clothes. Suite There was an electrical outage (planned) in the hotel for four hours overnight, during the second evening of our stay. This was well-documented and expected and the hotel managed this excellently. As a result of the inconvenience, we were upgraded to an executive suite. This was absolutely stunning. It was more traditional than our first room, but it was very big, superbly appointed, and just an incredibly nice room. It was absolutely superb for my partner, as he was working from the room - he therefore had a large desk in a separate living area. This was a fantastic gesture from the hotel and really made our holiday. Both rooms were impeccably clean. Executive lounge The executive lounge on the 27th floor is really expansive and offers outstanding service. The staff were fantastic (although they could’ve been a tiny bit quicker on check-in). They genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. The lounge serves a full breakfast - guests can choose a breakfast at the executive lounge or in the main buffet downstairs. They offer lots of international dishes and Thai specific dishes. At 2:30 PM, they offer afternoon tea with a selection of sandwiches, cakes, and scones. These changed everyday. At 5:30 PM, the lounge opens for alcoholic drinks and canapés. The canapés change every day and include breaded shrimp, hoisin duck wraps and lots of lovely desserts. They also offer a selection of sparkling, white and red wines, as well as cocktails and spirits. I would highly recommend booking an executive room (we had access as Hhonors Diamond members). Hotel car/airport transfers The hotel does one-way transfers to or from the airport for 2000 baht (around £45) in their hotel Toyota or 4000 baht in their hotel Mercedes. Overall comment: I can’t recommend the hotel enough. We had a wonderful stay.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Conrad Bangkok was my choice for accommodations from 2005 - 2011 while visiting Thailand for my work - I loved it then and I love it now! This property is consistent in its excellent customer service, cleanliness, amenities, charm and elegance. I want to recognize a member of the lobby staff, Miss Ayelyn. She is very professional, courteous and attentive. Miss Ayelyn was very helpful and assisted me with my check-in and check-out and her sincere and genuine manner is indicative of the beauty, charm and culture of the Kingdom of Thailand. I will always choose Conrad Bangkok. Job well done!
