Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River

Another top stay at Four Seasons

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Remembering the high standards at Four Seasons Seoul, we decided to stay at Four Seasons Bangkok. On the second leg of our trip, we moved to the hotel. Very wowed by the design and decor of the spacious lobby. Especially love the flower arrangements of hydrangeas and giant orchids. Everything screams elegance in the hotel. We were upgraded to river view room, located on the 4th floor. Amazing view of the river and the pools. Too cold to swim at this time. Later discovered a lap pool at the fitness centre. Found the pillows provided too soft so requested for firmer one. Wishing there was bidet to warm up toilet seat. Loved the breakfast. Good spread. Found a corner where there were prepackaged snacks like cake loaf and cookies. Yummy. Had lunch at Yu Ting Yuan. Not bad. Because it was near closing time, we got the last order. Tried the signature massage which includes deep tissue. Pretty effective for tired muscles. Took round trip boat ride just to enjoy the night scenery of the river. Windy cool weather. Service is consistently good. Quality assured. Thumbs up again. Happy to find out Four Seasons Bangkok is no. 2 in World's 50 best hotels 2025.

Happy to have them taking care of us again.

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok was another property I chose to celebrate my birthday this year. It had been a long time since my last visit, so I was really glad to return, reconnect, and be a guest under their care once again. Many members of the “dream team” from Park Hyatt have now scattered and ended up here at FS, which brought back a lot of memories. • Studio Family Suite This room is set a bit further from the riverside, but it overlooks the line of palm trees. Located right in the center of the building, it gives a full view of the long lotus pond in front. The ceiling is impressively high, making the room feel bright and spacious. The bathroom is large as well. Personally, I prefer this layout over the Premium River room, which feels a bit constricted around the bed and minibar area. Also, there’s a long swimming pool on the upper floor for those who want to do proper laps. • Breakfast at Riva The taste and quality were good, but to be honest, the variety was a bit limited, and there were no Thai dishes. Still, the juices, cheese selection, salad, and pastries were enjoyable. Sitting by the river in the morning with a cup of Thai tea made up for it. They also offer a welcome drink inspired by mango sticky rice, plus a daily rotating special dish. • Service Service remains excellent as always. A special mention goes to Khun Tawan, whose attentive and sincere service made the entire stay smooth and memorable. I didn’t write much this time, so I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. I originally planned to have dinner at Chao Phraya Terrace, but it was closed, so I ended up dining at Phra Nakhon and then Stella instead.

Beautiful property with warm and attentive service

Amazing experience on our family holiday to celebrate wifey’s birthday. Such a special resort on the ChaoPhraya estate, with warm and attentive Four Seasons service, wonderful restaurants, a great pool and excellent kids club facilities. We loved our few days here and found the shuttle boat a very pleasant bonus to get across the river quickly and save valuable time in road traffic. We want to be back as soon as possible as it’s a lovely resort break feel, but still in a bustling city with plenty of activities and sights to see in Bangkok, ideally located. The extra birthday celebration touches on arrival, at restaurant dinner, and so forth were really thoughtful and apprenticed too. Thank you to the FS Bangkok team for a special experience!

Amazing property

What an amazing property. We stay at four seasons, all around the world. This one was rated as the second most nicest hotel in the world. I can see why the service was unbelievable even for four season standards. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The food was amazing. The rooms were beautiful. The grounds were beautiful. Cannot say enough good things about this property.

What a great place!

Here, the noise and exhaust fumes of Bangkok seem far away. The hotel is located on the Chao Phraya River and is like an oasis in the bustling city. Beautifully decorated with many works of art, it creates a wonderful atmosphere. You don't miss anything and feel comfortable from the very first moment. Don't miss the Café Madeleine with its fine coffee and exquisite products.
