Review in English so everyone can understand: I live in Germany, have traveled extensively, and have stayed in countless hotels, but the JC Kevin Sathorn Bangkok was an absolute disaster. We spent 19 nights there (€2,000), and it ruined our vacation in beautiful Bangkok. The shocking reality of this hotel: Cockroach infestation: The entire building (rooms, kitchen, and the area directly by the breakfast buffet) was infested with a massive cockroach infestation! We even had to set up our own cockroach traps in the room. Life-threatening: I found a sharp piece of glass in my food and bit down on it. Incorrect food: The food at the buffet was mislabeled. As a vegetarian, I was served meat and ate some of it without realizing it. Nightmarish security measures: We were woken up at 2:30 a.m. and accused of stealing food! It later turned out that it was a completely different guest. Technical problems: Our balcony flooded twice because the washing machine was broken. We even had lizards in our room. Management failure: We were offered worthless hotel vouchers and two free nights as compensation. We refused, demanding fair compensation. We still haven't received fair compensation to this day (two months later), despite reminders. The proof: We documented everything with photos and videos and even have an official written apology from the hotel management on their letterhead, confirming all the incidents. The only positive thing was the view from the balcony. Everything else was absolutely unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and find other accommodation. We personally strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

I recently stayed at the JC Kevin Sathorn Bangkok Hotel, and while the rooms were spacious and the staff generally helpful, my experience at the 100° East restaurant was significantly marred by poor hygiene. During several breakfast and lunch sittings, the dining area was plagued by large, persistent flies. It was incredibly off-putting to see these insects hovering over the buffet stations and landing on the tables. For a hotel that positions itself as a five-star establishment, this level of pest presence is unacceptable. It creates an atmosphere that feels unsanitary and makes it difficult to enjoy a meal when you are constantly swatting away flies. While the food variety was decent, the lack of effective pest control in the restaurant area suggests a lapse in management’s attention to detail regarding cleanliness. Until the hotel addresses this issue with professional intervention, I would be hesitant to dine on-site again. It is a shame, as the property has potential, but basic hygiene should never be compromised.

We had a great stay at JC Kevin Sathorn. The noise level was nice and quiet and the rooms were very clean. We had a lot of fun in the big pool and the buffet breakfasts were very tasty. Special mention to May who was very kind and welcoming whenever we went to the breakfasts. She always had a smile on her face and made us laugh. If we come back to Bangkok, then we will definitely stay here again.
