Disappointing

A supposedly 4 star hotel. On arrival I was full of hope as we were told we had been upgraded in reality this just meant a higher floor. The booking had been made for a family of 3 but no bed had been made up for our son. On enquiry we were told whilst the booking had been made for 3 people no specific instructions had been made for a camp bed so they expected him to share with his mom and dad! If we wanted a bed it was an additional cost! The rooms smell musty and are dated, cleanliness is ok. The telly runs off a dodgy stick which you need the patience of a saint to navigate. The hotel has 40 floors but only two working lifts so expect to queue! I wouldn’t recommend

Just checked it, what can I say part from his run down hotel is not 5 star. Absolutely filthy, bathroom is vulgar. Cannot be bothered to complain only here for 2 nights. Just such a downer to end an amazing 12 nights in beautiful Vietnam before we travel home. Believe me when I say I can’t stop itching, the bed feels so grimy spend your money elsewhere. Whoever is the manager of this hotel needs firing.

This hotel exceeded every expectation. Located in the heart of Bangkok, it’s the perfect jump-off point to start a luxurious vacation. The service was impeccable. The staff was warm, helpful. and genuinely attentive. Every staff member made us feel like honored guests, and each person spoke English, which made the experience easy as pie for us. The rooms were beautifully appointed, large, and spotlessly clean, with a view of the city skyline. The lap pool blew my husband away. You don’t typically see this size pool at hotels. The views from our balcony left us speechless. Breakfast each morning was a lavish spread of Thai options and a bitch of home, e.g.. American, if you need that. The dinners were a perfect representation of what to expect with fine Thai dining. This is a 5 star hotel that delivered on its rating. The staff was 10 stars.

Disappointing Check-In Experience at a Supposed Five-Star Hotel

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the check-in experience I encountered at your hotel in the afternoon. For a hotel that prides itself on delivering five-star service, the operational mismanagement displayed on this occasion was deeply disappointing and seriously undermined the reputation of the establishment. It resulted in an extremely unpleasant start to what was meant to be a relaxing stay. I arrived at 5:00 PM, well within the standard check-in time, only to find a single staff member handling check-ins during what should be considered a peak period. This glaring understaffing issue resulted in myself and other guests enduring an unacceptable two-hour wait to be served. Such inefficiency is not only unacceptable in any hospitality setting but especially inexcusable for a hotel of five-star calibre. The situation was further aggravated by the complete absence of any management personnel throughout the entire delay. This lack of leadership presence made it feel as though the hotel was indifferent to both the service failure and the guests’ mounting frustration. When service issues arise, the absence of managerial support is not only a failure of protocol, it sends a clear message that guests’ time and concerns are not valued. This was my experience, and it left a lasting negative impression on what could have been a wonderful stay. It is disappointing that a hotel of this standard failed to uphold the service quality that guests rightly expect and that your brand promises. I believe it is only fair that guests are met with professionalism and efficiency—not long queues and silence from the management team. I respectfully request a formal explanation of what caused this incident and what corrective measures will be put in place to ensure it does not happen again. Roach Hotel

The hotel is so run down and dirty. There were so many roaches in our room that we found at least 10. We ended up checking out on our 2nd day to move to a better hotel. The Hotel Manager (Joe) did not want to give us a refund and did not take accountability for the roaches in our room. He even said that some hotels have roaches, that’s normal (who says that!!!). Like its acceptable. I have never stayed in a hotel outside of the country that dirty and especially with roaches. This hotel needs to be shut down. The pictures so deceiving it's a catfish hotel as my daughter would say. It looks good on the outside but not on the inside. Don't waste your money on this hotel. We got lucky to find another hotel (way cleaner, friendly staff) immediately to get out of this hotel. It’s so disgusting!!!
