Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok

From the moment that we stepped in, we were greeted with a warm smile. The hotel from the outside looked fantastic and interior was embellished with style. Check in was very smooth and easy! We were helped by Titang who was very professional and friendly. Process didn’t take long and she was even able to upgrade our room, which was super sweet of her. I stayed in several different chains in Bangkok and thought IHG front desk was the most professional and knowledgeable. Buffet was great for breakfast! Get there early or it gets busy.

Kimpton Bangkok is outstanding in every way. The service is flawless, the location is central, and the hotel itself is new, modern, and beautifully designed. Dining is a highlight—Avant, the Michelin-starred restaurant, is exceptional, and the breakfast is incredible with a wide variety of choices. The pool area is terrific, with plenty of shade and a peaceful atmosphere, and the spa is excellent (though a bit more expensive than one might expect for Thailand). Thoughtful touches like treats at turndown make the experience even more special. My only complaint is the internet speed—it slows down noticeably when the hotel is busy. Locking access could help maintain consistency. Overall, a superb stay that I would highly recommend.

Amazing experience with Kimpton Maa-lai. From the moment I stepped out of their BMW, I was recognised and greeted by the many friendly FOH. Quite surprised by the team’s ability to recognise new members. The in-room C/I was such a great touch, the fact that it wasn’t requested shows the team put a lot of care and thoughts! The room’s spotless and stylishly furnished, fairly enjoyed the tub facing the greenery and the linen/bedding feels like it must be at least 300-500 threads, I was in bed early almost every night just cause I relish how they feel! Breakfast was the highlight every morning! Staff there were able to sit me the same table facing the park every morning. A vast selection of cuisine, I particularly enjoyed the poke bowl station. Really great pick-me-up after a good leg/back day. And don't even get me started on The Gym, I had the most engaging back and leg workout (Vacation-wise). The equipments are well maintained, you don’t always see squat racks with sufficient plates. Tranquil experience in the spa, the therapist clearly understands how to crack a tense upper back. All and all my stay was phenomenal, service is consistent and excellent in an understated manner. Please give my heartfelt thanks to everyone who’ve taken care of me during the 3 nights, since I’ve forgotten to ask everyone’s name! Looking forward to my upcoming stay this November.

The service was wonderful from start to finish. The room was not only clean and comfortable, but Sanya and Grape also surprised me with a lovely decoration. Their kindness and hospitality made my stay unforgettable!
