Excellent holidays in Bangkok with Lancaster Bangkok as perfect base

Our 2nd time staying at the Lancaster Bangkok and it was just as good as the 1st. We have stayed at many 5* and 7* hotels around the world and this one is top of our list. This is a solid 5* hotel: room layout, amenities, bed, pillows, bath, shower, toilet, BG, gym, pool, restaurant, location, staff are all top notch. We stayed in a Deluxe King room on the 8th floor and the shower pressure was very powerful, water always boiling hot for baths. All electrical sockets are international, UK-friendly. HDMI port to TV also on desk wall. Two 7-11's across the road & abt 10 mins walk to MRT (Petchaburi) & ARL (Makassan). The hotel also offers free shuttle to the MRT which is convenient if you have luggage. There is hardly anything I could think of which would make our experience any better. However, if I had to be picky I would say: - Complimentary bath foam would be nice - An area for guests to sit and do some work after checking out as opposed to the large sofa in reception - BG in reception toilets If you are looking for a solid 5* hotel in Bangkok at good value, the Lancaster will be pretty hard to beat. This hotel is a must for us whenever we are in Bangkok!

We had a wunderful time at lancaster.. the rooms are fantastic! Also our kids love the place, the pool and the staff was excellent! Thanks for having us! And the breakfast outstanding

Hotel rooms were spacious and well equipped. The lobby was decorated beautifully and the staff was very professional and knowledgeable. They had a tourist guide located in the lobby so we were able to book towards within the hotel. The breakfast could have been better they had several choices but the food was never hot. I stuck with the omelettes because they made to order. Loved the pool area, very relaxing. Also had a massage, It was a 4 out 5. I don’t think they were very experienced in deep tissue. location was ok. It wasn’t as close to attractions and malls as we thought. The train station was very close which was a plus. The hotel was good I would recommend it if you like being away from the tourist areas.

Tastefully decorated good sized rooms, excellent service quality throughout, club floors w/perks. Breakfast worth incl. in your reservation. Nice pool on 12th floor that could be a bit larger and have more loungers. Best BKK choice if you want to be close to the ARL (10 min. walk to Makkasan station, 7 to MRT Blue line).
