Le Meridien Bangkok

The overall environment at the Le Méridien is excellent. The staff in the Executive Lounge are very warm and friendly — Lulu, Sam, and Pio are all wonderful. They make us want to keep coming back.

Le Meridien Bangkok was a splendid home-away-from-home for my wife and me during multiple stays over the past year. I was on assignment working with high-tech manufacturers in Thailand. During my early trips, I explored several American-brand hotels in search of the ideal base for my extended visits. I needed more than just a place to stay—it had to double as a comfortable and functional workspace. While I visited newer and more luxurious properties, Le Meridien stood above them all. The building is impeccably clean and well maintained. Our suite featured a thoughtfully designed desk area that was perfect for work and conference calls. The layout—with separate rooms—allowed me to work quietly while my wife relaxed. Internet quality was consistently excellent. The gym was well-equipped and everything functioned as expected. I used it daily. The spa is top-tier and well worth the upgrade from massage places outside the hotel. The adjacent pool area offers a stunning view of Mahanakhon Tower. While the pool is a bit small for swimming laps and the cabana cushions could use a refresh, it remains a peaceful and inviting spot we returned to often. I’ve traveled extensively, and Le Meridien’s breakfast buffet is hands-down the most impressive I’ve encountered. It rivals offerings from upscale cruise lines. Everything is fresh, with a wide range of cuisines—Thai, Western, Japanese, and Indian. Fruits and vegetables are vibrant and clearly fresh. Eggs are cooked to order, and lighter options like the salad bar and fresh fish are available. Bread is baked fresh daily. Custom coffee, tea, and coconut drinks are offered with a smile. They truly personalize the experience. For example, I requested extra-crisp bacon during one of my first breakfasts, and from then on, it was offered to me every time I returned. The top-floor lounge is another standout, with high-quality food and exceptionally friendly service. The staff quickly learn your name and preferred cocktail, making each visit feel personal and welcoming. Frankly, everything about Le Meridien was excellent—from the front desk and door security to the bell staff, laundry, housekeeping, and limo service. Everyone greets you with a warm, natural sà-wàt-dii khâ. Le Meridien caters to a diverse, multinational clientele, which adds to the richness of the experience. We met new friends and colleagues. Hats off to the team responsible for hiring and training the staff. I understand how challenging it is to maintain such high standards in an operation of this scale and complexity. They’ve truly succeeded.

The room is meet the expectations but what I would like to compliment is the club lounge. The hospitality from K.Jommy is phenomenal with the good taking care and asking if anything else I would need is also touch my mind. The foods from chef Lek is meeting the standard. I would recommend Le Meridian Bangkok if you would like to explore BKK and need some privileges for the club lounge.

I’m currently staying here and have to write this because of the incredible service my girlfriend and I are receiving. From the moment we checked in (at 8am) we only had to wait 35 minutes in the club lounge for our room to be ready. We just got off an overnight flight and were fed a great breakfast (tom yum shrimp scrambled eggs) and given juice and coffee. The circle bed is comfortable and unique and the rest of the room is very sleek (tv is massive and also great tub). Phenomenal water pressure from the rain shower. The real reason I am writing this review is the unbelievable service we have received at the club lounge. Lulu, Sam, Kathy, and Jommy are angels. They zip around the club checking and asking if I need anything before I can even formulate a thought. Jommy remembered that I wanted a Chang beer at the afternoon refreshment hour and as soon as cocktail hour started he was right there with my beer. I have been here for the last hour and the second my glass drops to halfway Jommy is right there to refill my glass. Absolutely great hotel!

We were here as a family in (about) 2018 and were so happy that we returned with friends this year. The club lounge amongst he best value in the world. Big shout out to Pio, Lulu and Pio.
