Le Meridien Bangkok

My husband and I just spent three weeks traveling in Southeast Asia on what some would call a honeymoon. I explained to my spouse that after I travel, I always send a note to the hotel when I experience exceptional service that goes above and beyond. Undoubtably, the Meridien Hotel Bangkok has achieved such recognition, and beyond! This recognition reflects the service received from the moment we checked in to the moment we regretfully had to check out. Of special service was the housekeeping staff, who made sure our room was serviced, even when it was late in the day after a late night out. However, the most important note is of the service from the team in the executive lounge. Not only was the food and beverages in the lounge of high quality, we were treated with exceptional friendliness in the lounge when we first entered. Jommy instantly made us feel that Bangkok was our second home. The hotel facilities and service are of the highest quality and are the reason we are certain to return to Bangkok and Le Meridien in the future.

Jommy, Lulu and Martin treat you so well in the Le Meridien lounge. Overall experience from the hotel was top notch. I booked the Circle Wellness room which comes with a huge circular bed, which I must say, had one of the best sleep in. Pillows and bed were made for my back.

So many options in Bangkok to choose from. As we stayed in Sukhumvit twice before, we wanted a change of environment. Turned out we made a great pick. Le Méridien Bangkok is medium size and nicely decorated. The room was good size and the electrically controlled window screens created a perfect blackout for sleeping. No street noise came through. The sliding door for the shower/toilet was a bit quirky and didn’t work well, that seems to be todays standard in many newly build or refurbished hotels. The pool itself is small, yet the area was usually quiet and relaxing. Great location, with plenty of restaurants around and the MRT station close by.
