Gone glory
Well, its hard to explain but the hotel isnt the hotel anymore what it was while ago. WEe feel everything is focussed on the skybars and restaurants , the rest does not matter , rooms looks the same as 18 years ago , spacious but outdated a lot , very poor maintenance everywhere , paint is falling down fom the building , also in the pool (paint is still there) so I doubt cleaneless of the pool. Rooms are closed and stripped down , mall is gone. But one thing they are very good which is charging ... 2 martini 's and a fruitcocktail Eur 138,- , what the *^$@ is this ?? Burj al Arab (7 stars) is chargng Eur 31,- per cocktail , what is this ? 8 star prices for a monir 4 star hotel ?? Hangover will be activated anyway with such prices. All n all , forget this hotel , book something else .

Simply wonderful
A short family trip to Bangkok and a wonderful stay at Lebua at state Tower. The staff were wonderful and I was especially grateful to Amy at the concierge for having found me a doctor at short notice. The service all around was impeccable. The highlight was dinner at Sirocco. Not cheap but truly wonderful food and atmosphere at the open air on the 64th floor, where the jazz band was perfection. Bravo!!
