For over a hundred years, royalty, dignitaries and distinguished guests have followed the pulse of the Chao Phya River through the heart of Bangkok to the doors of one of the world's most luxurious hotels. At Mandarin Oriental, Bangkokyou'll be staying in a little piece of history in one of its sumptuous bedrooms or suites. From private butler service and specialty restaurants to a spectacular spa, hospitality and facilities merge to create an experience steeped in the values and traditions of the East. Each experience here offers a window onto the hotel's rich legacies. A stay in the signature Author's Suite celebrates the great writers who favored this opulent sanctuary, while a meal at Le Normandie puts you in the company of the HRH Queen of Thailand.

Good hotel but think about today, we have too many hotels with very close services and qualities. As a fan of MO, I expect to have more activities to do in hotel, not only food, drink, bar, spa, boat tour and go across the river for shopping. It's very boring. But I will go stay here again and again and hope MO management will see my warm and kind comments here. Your food is very good taste, your staff is gentle and kind. Room very clean. Just improve what I mentioned, and see you next time.

Everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and well-designed. We loved all of the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel. Special shoutout to Pim at the front desk for putting together to-go breakfasts for our early flight. It's so appreciated. Based on our experiences, we will stay at a Mandarin Oriental anytime we are at a qualifying destination.

I stayed here for my 4th birthday with a close friend. Booking was convenient and the date was right for me. This was my 4th time staying here, and I've always felt warmly welcomed by the staff from the moment I arrived at the hotel gate. I've always received courteous and respectful treatment, as if I'd returned for a perfect vacation. Including dinner, I was treated with great care by the restaurant staff, both in recommending the menu and choosing the wine. This made the meal enjoyable and delicious, filled with smiles for me and my girlfriend. Thank you for the excellent service.

My mother’s day experience with my mom in this beautiful luxury hotel alongside Chao praya river. We request for a twin bed room but got a king bed instead although they tried to put 2 blankets to separate us , it’s still a bit uncomfortable. Anyway the mattress is very comfortable and the bathroom is very nice and convenient toilet which opens with sensors. We especially love the afternoon tea at The Author lounge! It’s so beautiful and all the staffs are so sweet. They give my mom a special cake for Mother’s Day that’s really touching . Thankyou everyone;) . We stay in room no 1227 and the staff team was very attentive and friendly. Thankyou again and wishes all of you a happy Mother’s Day too.

Timeless and just perfect, This is one of a few hotels around the world that I continue to return to again and again. The feeling I get is just as it was on my first visit back in 1998, understated elegance, from the time you walk into the lobby everything just seems better. It's not just the beautful things you can see, it's the small things and attentiaion to detail that make this is a special place. Our 8 year old son (armed with a balloon robot made for him by a clown at breakfast) told us that he didn't want to go out, he wanted to stay in the hotel instead.
