Reviews for Park Hyatt Bangkok

Park Hyatt Bangkok did all the right thing from top to bottom

It was a surprisingly wonderful and pleasant stay. Our first stay at Park Hyatt and this will be our beginning of the to go hotel. Simple reason is we felt genuine hospitality during our stay and this is not given nowadays with more and more AI automation and less human touch. We genuinely felt being looked after by a family member.

Great connectivity and very convenient location!

Wonderful experience even during a rainstorm. Because the hotel was connected directly to Central Embassy Mall and the BTS walkways, it was easy to get around even during the rain as we did not need to be stuck in traffic. The rooms were surprisingly quiet even being in a central location. The Penthouse Bar was a fun vibe during Negroni Week and one of the best hotel gyms I have ever been in. Even with out people working out there, it didn't feel crowded at all.

Subpar service for luxury hotel.

This was probably the worst luxury hotel experience I’ve had. They had a planned power outage on the day we arrived which means they knew about it advance but did not notify me. They sent a standard welcome email the day before informing me I can check in any time after 3pm. We arrived at 3:30pm and were stuck in the arrival floor (lobby is upstairs) because the elevators were not working and there was no way to actually go up and check in. Once one elevator started working, they prioritized guests who were already staying there who came after us but got to go upstairs before us. We waited over half hour before we could go upstairs to check in. They should have informed me the day before about this planned outage. I could have planned my day around it. When we got to reception , they informed us that our room wasn’t ready and that it wouldn’t be ready for another hour and half to two hours. They wanted us to sit around and wait till 6pm for our room to be ready. We left to go hang out at the mall next door and when we came back front desk did offer a 3,000 Bhatt credit for our inconvenience. Their breakfast is part Buffett and part à la cart. The Buffett is fairly limited and à la cart menu is nice but they don’t have nearly enough wait staff to efficiently wait on the guests so often the à la cart items took a long time and worse yet, we’d have to ask for things multiple times before we got them. I will not return to this property for its poor service.

The hotel itself is sooo beautiful! The breakfast was the best breakfast was the best breakfast ever. On the other hand i felt the staff was very cocky. No welcome drink no room tour. Almost no information about the minibar and other ammenities. The staff barely spoke English. And both the rooftopbar and cocktailbar were closed during our stay. I enjoyed my stay but feel like for this amount of money the staff should be better trained. It killed the experience and i think there are better options.
