After checking with the official that there is a parking lot that we can park. We arrived at the parking lot and the security said the parking is full and asked us to park at PTT gas station. We remember that parking is not allowed there so we ask for confirmation and he said the parking available, just go there. We then drive to the PTT station where the parking is prohibited, clearly shown by the sign. So we went back to ask the security, why he directed us there and where is the valid parking place. He then gets really frustrated and told us to go somewhere else like parking in the nearby temple. He made it clear that he doesn’t want us here and wants us to get lost as soon he we can. Even walking away from us without even finishing the conversation.

Loved this little hotel. Great location and nice views to the river. A good hotel is built on attention to details, in the lobby, in the rooms, with the service. So many I don’t know where to start, I have been in so many different hotels around the world, and this ranks up with the best. Pool is fab, food is great and inexpensive, same with massage treatments. Staff is attentive and keen to please. Ton, Noon and team in the restaurant, the team I. reception and generally all, fantastic. A little gem. If I can, I would come back in a heartbeat. 5/5 STARS

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights and had a great time. The location by the river is perfect, the room was super clean and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty every morning. Big thanks to Bee, May, Tim, Fon, and Nun for being so friendly and helpful – you really made our stay even better! Would happily come back.

My stays at Riva Surya in Bangkok consistently exceed expectations. This was my fifth visit, and each time I'm thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service and attentive staff. From helping with luggage to simply offering a friendly greeting, their willingness to assist and their genuine smiles make a significant difference. The hotel recently renovated its pool and surrounding area, transforming it into a truly luxurious space with comfortable, high-quality chairs and plush cushions. It's a fantastic upgrade. The housekeeping team deserves special mention; they were incredibly efficient, always cleaning our room precisely when we were out, ensuring our privacy. Check-in and check-out processes were as smooth as can be. Given its popularity, early check-in or late check-out may not always be accommodated, which is understandable. Overall, Riva Surya offers a luxurious experience, and I eagerly anticipate my next stay.

Stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon. The hotel is so beautiful with amazing service. Ton, Proud, and Mint were our servers throughout our stay and they were amazing! The room had a neat view of the river and we were very close to a lot of temples and street markets.
