A perfect hotel by the river
Right on the river and close to all the attractions. The hotel is an amazing experience, made special by the staff. without them it would be nice, with them, awesome. Everyone is friendly, the hotel is spacious and clean, rooms are excellent, although mine had a wiff of mould at the entrance, probably a bathroom flood. Food was amazing, the bar was in a great location and the pool was fantastic. The staff made the meetings i had go like clockwork. Well organised, nothing was too much trouble. Even had the AV team running to fix a minor issue. The hotel organised excursions were perfect and not too expensive. All in all i cannot recommend this enough

An Outstanding Stay at Shangri-La Bangkok
Our stay at Shangri-La Bangkok was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by warm, attentive staff whose genuine hospitality made us feel at home. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered stunning views of the Chao Phraya River and the Bangkok skyline. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention. The variety was incredible, with an extensive selection catering to every taste. Pro tip: arrive early to avoid the queues, especially during peak hours. The hotel's location is another major advantage. It's just a short walk from the BTS Skytrain station, making it easy to explore the city, and it's conveniently close to Bangkok's major shopping malls. We also loved the complimentary shuttle boat service to ICONSIAM, which is both convenient and a scenic way to travel—definitely take advantage of it. If you have time, don't miss the spa. It's the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing and offers a truly rejuvenating experience. Shangri-La Bangkok combines luxury, comfort, outstanding service, and a fantastic location. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

I noticed that I had lost all the documentation pertaining to my booking as I was checking in at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok. It did not seem to matter, since they had all the details of my booking, and to my great surprise I was given an upgrade in the King Kungthrup Wing. An unforgettable experience.
