Reviews for Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok

Absolutely Amazing Magical

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

An afternoon at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is not merely a pause in the day it is an immersion into refinement, where every detail is composed with quiet precision and unmistakable grace. The afternoon tea presentation arrives like a curated jewel box, delicate pâtisserie, savoury creations of remarkable finesse, and a harmony of flavours that reveals both restraint and mastery. Each element feels intentional, never excessive, a rare balance that speaks of true luxury. What elevates this experience beyond the expected is the presence of live harp music, an art form that transforms atmosphere into emotion. The sound is not simply heard, but felt, luminous, fluid, and effortlessly sophisticated. It is heartening to witness a new generation of Thai harpists, Peary, Wewe, View, Mink, Venuz, Phaewaree, and Nichakan, contributing to the growing cultural presence of the harp, bringing elegance into contemporary spaces with quiet confidence. Having been personally inspired by the artistry of Tongjuan Wang, one cannot help but appreciate how Siam Kempinski understands the profound role of music in shaping a truly elevated experience. Here, the harp is not decoration, it is identity. Service throughout remains impeccable, attentive yet discreet, polished yet warm, anticipating without imposing. In its entirety, this is not simply afternoon tea. It is a statement of taste, of atmosphere, and of cultivated elegance, a destination for those who recognise that true luxury lies not in excess, but in refinement.

Great Stay for Families with Excellent Location and Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We had a great stay at this hotel. The pool is fantastic for kids, and the staff were excellent—especially at the kids club and the lobby bar, where everyone was friendly and attentive. The rooms are comfortable, well-decorated, and very spacious, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, with several malls nearby, including Paragon, offering plenty of shopping and dining options. Breakfast was excellent, and we also really enjoyed the food at the poolside restaurant and the lobby bar. We didn’t try the steakhouse, but it looked very promising. Overall, a great experience and a hotel we would definitely recommend.

Excellent city hotel with a small note for families with older children

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

We spent 3 nights as a family at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and overall had a truly enjoyable stay. The hotel is an outstanding choice for Bangkok. The location is perfect, and the property feels like a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. The pool area is beautiful, and the overall facilities are of a very high standard. What stood out most, however, was the service: consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. One small note for families: we booked a “Premier Room,” which is officially suitable for two adults and two children. This may work well for families with younger kids. However, for slightly older children (ours are 9 and 12), the additional sleeping arrangement (sofa/extra bed) is not entirely comfortable and does not quite match the otherwise excellent standard of the hotel. This is not a criticism, but rather a helpful consideration for future guests – in such cases, opting for a larger room category or a suite might be the better choice. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely consider returning, especially because of the fantastic service, beautiful setting, and excellent location.
