SO Sofitel Bangkok

Nice atmosphere, smokers have their outdoor space in club lounge and not affecting non smokers like me. Waiters are proactive, drinks and snacks are refilled regularly. Check-in usually good, usually nice rooms upgrade for Platinum members, been staying here for many occasions over the years, however on this occasion she has given us a less expensive room as an upgrade? She insists it’s an upgrade? I beg to differ? We usually stay in SO/Bangkok or Sofitel Bangkok. Anyway, we will go where are treated Best. An important note, Kob the waitress in the club lounge is very attentive and proactive. Her service has made us, to give another go for our future stay in Bangkok.

It was one of the best hotels in bkk and the price is very compatitive. As a platinum member, I was pampered at the exec lounge and esp Nik went high and low trying to meet my needs. Thanks Nik!!

So/Bangkok has been a favorite of my traveling companions so we decided to stay here to celebrate my birthday. The club experience was excellent and I was happy with the service provided including daily laundry and the food at the lounge was good. The staffs can be overwhelmed at times but they tried their best. Food was good and I like the daily rotation sushi selection. I was upgraded to a nice studio suite and the room was wonderful, despite they need some updates on the technology side, including USB-C outlets. The room was huge and I had a comfortable sleep. The housekeeping was of course top notch and my room was cleaned efficiently and there was a daily evening turndown. The only con was the elevator situation but I guess that was done because of security. However one broken elevator made the wait for elevators during peak time very annoying. The swimming pool was nice but beware that it could be very busy at various hours. Fitness center is another hot spot.

Loved staying here, the location is excellent near MRT and easy access to grab, taxi and tuk tuk. Lumphoni park just across the road. Service is excellent in every venue - club, bar, reception, pool etc. Would recommend & will stay again.
