Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit

Asked for 4pm late check out during check in at lounge. Reception called at 12pm on check out day and said 2pm is latest she can offer. Asked for iced coffee during breakfast, was served hot coffee. Eggs order never arrived, needed to request again. Breakfast ends at 10:30am but restaurant started clearing food at 10:15am. Food spread not as wide as The Athenee. Asked if there’s champagne at the lounge, was told yes but it’s prosecco and Australian cuvée. Sofitel is a French brand - there’s a difference between champagne and sparkling wine. Lounge food was good. Welcome drink at rooftop bar was good. Walkway to BTS was convenient.

The hotel is located between Asoke and Nana BTS station which gives you an access to both BTS and MRT. The staffs are extremely professional and friendly! Especially Khaow and Natty! The room is very clean. There are many 5 star hotels in Bangkok. But only some of them are real 5 stars. SOFITEL Sukhumvit is one of the real ones. I recommended my friend to stay here and he also loved it.

Excellent location, well appointed and clean rooms, and very efficient staff. Special thanks to the team at Le Macaron (Nong, Pim, Earn, Beer, Tae, May). Especially Nong for writing my name in my latte and Pim for always engaging with me and greeting me with a friendly smile :) Great team!

I knew this would be my best stay in Bangkok. And yes, I was right. My stay on 15 September started with a very smooth and informative check-in. The staff were very helpful in providing information about the hotel and its facilities. They upgraded our room!!! I really appreciated that! The room was absolutely beautiful and modern—there was nothing at all to complain about. Everything was perfect, even the amenities and turndown service were exceptional, though they weren’t the most extraordinary part. It is very effective as all the facilities in the room can be accessed via iPad. The hotel's location is very strategic, and I regret not being able to spend more time at this hotel. I will definitely return to this hotel if I am in Bangkok. Unfortunately, I did not try the breakfast, but I am quite sure it must be excellent, as reflected from the moment I first stepped into the hotel.

I have stayed numerous times at Sofitel Sukhumvit Bangkok. My recent trip in Sep 2025 - no surprises that I had received a wonderful and pleasant stay and experience with the entire Sofitel Bkk team - front desk, concierge team (Khao, et al), housekeeping services, cheerful team from the lobby cafe, delicious breakfast spread and dining services and team from Bella Sera are exceptional (Jeab & her team). Everyone is well trained, professional, friendly and very helpful with requests and assistance always. Thank you, Kop Khun krap🙏 & au revoir soon 👌
