Amazing!
Absolutely beautiful hotel. Room was clean, gorgeous decor, and comfortable beds. The staff were wonderful (especially Doreen) and the breakfast was excellent. They even had a little trail mix station for hikers! Adorable. Will go back again, already planning.

I can't say enough good things about the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our room was exceptionally clean, recently renovated, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do in Bar Harbor. Walking distance to stores and restaurants, driving distance to Acadia National Park. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and well-stocked each morning. The dining area was always spotless. Every morning, we were greeted by Josh, whose kindness and friendly personality made our day start on a positive note. He took great pride in ensuring that all breakfast items were fresh and fully stocked. Another wonderful touch was the daily afternoon treat offered to guests. In addition, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available 24 hours a day, which was greatly appreciated after a day of exploring. The Bar Harbor Grand Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bar Harbor.

I will stay here again!
This is a lovely hotel and so much nicer than the national chains. The location couldn't be better for accessing the downtown Bar Harbor area and all it offers. All of Main Street is walking distance so you don't have to get in your car and try to find a place to park that you now have to pay for.

Right spot to relax in
If you want to relax and enjoy yourself, then stay at the Grand Hotel. You are in good hands with a caring staff and wonderful rooms. Parking and location near the town greens was superb. For example, my family enjoyed the rockers on the front porch, while sipping tea and playing with the hotel provided family/board games. We all enjoyed the stay. Based on our experience, you cannot go wrong staying here.
