Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

Just a fantastic hotel in Bar Harbor! Beautiful rooms, fantastic furnishings, great free breakfast, walking distance to everything!! Clean, comfortable, spacious accommodations! Look forward to staying again in the future!! Make sure to get your own complimentary snack bag before you leave in the morning! Just another great touch!!

We stayed for two nights with my husband, our grandson, and his friend. It is a lovely hotel and the service is impeccable and friendly. They service a great, varied breakfast every morning. And there are washers and dryers available. Very convenient! Our rooms were lovely, and the location was excellent!

We visited Bar Harbor right after July 4th to celebrate a big birthday. The Grand was incredible! They decorated our room with towel swans and left a gift and a lovely card. It was a wonderful surprise and a beautiful touch. The staff was friendly and helpful, from a warm greeting when we arrived (with a map orientation and helpful tips) to helping me find the right tea at breakfast. The room was large and well done. The bed was comfortable and we loved eating breakfast on the front porch after returning from sunrise in Acadia.

Charming hotel. Very comfy beds and rooms were clean and well equipped. Continental breakfast included. Can’t beat this location within walking distance of everything in Bar Harbor. Staff is friendly and helpful. This was our second stay. It’s not a bougie modern hotel. Its style feels a bit dated but that’s part of its charm. We keep coming back because it’s so conveniently located right in the heart of Bar Harbor. Will be back again!

This is truly a gem in Bar Harbor! Our first time staying there and we were thrilled with every aspect. The staff is friendly and efficient. The breakfast is wonderful The rooms were modern yet had an old school charm. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities were quality We will definitely be back and highly recommend!
