Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

Our room was a good size and spotlessly clean with excellent air conditioning and comfortable beds. The hotel has a decked porch area at the front where you can have your breakfast if you prefer to eat outside. The rocking chairs on the porch were great for chatting when we got back to the hotel in the evening. Bar Harbour's restaurants are all within walking distance (many only steps from the hotel) and the staff were very pleasant answering any questions we had. The swimming pool area overlooks the car park but is fenced-off with some screening to make it pleasant. Clean towels are available from a box beside the pool every day. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to book again if we return to Bar Harbour.

Great location. Rooms dated. Shower leaked. Good breakfast. Coffee in room. Some noisy children. Pool area decent with a sauna and towels.

Good looking hotel and spacious and well equipped rooms but breakfast does not live up to the many other qualities of the hotel.

This hotel is right on Main Street and in a perfect spot. It’s a beautiful place. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Neil at the front desk was so nice every time we went by he said hello and was so welcoming!

The location of the hotel is so convenient, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the property was well maintained and the room was clean and spacious. Parking was easy and plentiful. We will be back!
