Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

Best hotel experience in my life. The free breakfast is the best in the US. Quality hotel, fantastic location, super clean and high end. The staff were great, helpful and happy.

Wonderful location. Close to restaurants and very short walk to the water. The “hotel” was lovely…..clean and so quaint. I would stay again visiting Bar Harbor.

Excellent location. Everything in town is an easy walk. Excellent service and amenities. Continental breakfast was a perfect start to each day.

Five star experience at every turn. The Grand truly does earn its name. The room was beautifully appointed and spotless, luxury towels and bedding and cozy seating area. The continental breakfast spread is NOT to be missed. Look for the build your own trail mix table in the mornings, the afternoon bakery treat-whoopie pie day was the best, and the 24 hour coffee/tea bar, so well stocked. The location is ideal for getting around on foot throughout Bar Harbor, avoiding the parking hassles. What truly makes the Grand stand out though is the staff. Friendly and accommodating to a fault, from the desk clerk at check in who gave us all kinds of insider tips for making the most of our stay, to the behind the scenes staff who actually helped us store some flash frozen fish overnight so that we could take a “taste of Maine” back home to Wisconsin. The staff and the Grand absolutely made our stay a one of a kind memorable experience. Kudos!

This is a very nice hotel in a perfect downtown Bar Harbor location. The room was big, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. They have an excellent continental breakfast as well.
