Excellent hotel
A lovely hotel so perfectly situated in Bar Harbor. The staff were so friendly and everything was so clean. Perfect distance to Acadia. Every night, we’d walk to dinner and try the best places for lobster, pizza, and Irish/American @McKay’s!. We tried 5 different places for blueberry ice cream. A great place to unwind and live life at a slower pace!

Ladies Hiking Trip
Acadia 2026 hiking trip was amazing with the help of Bar Harbor Grand Hotel. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The bedding was comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly at all times. The breakfast was more than expected and we looked forward to it every morning. They even served chocolate chip cookies in the evening. The location was amazing. We would highly recommend Bar Harbor Grand Hotel.

Great Hotel in Bar Harbor
My husband and I stayed here for two nights in August, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! You simply can’t beat the location. The on-site parking made it incredibly convenient, and everything in Bar Harbor was within easy walking distance. The breakfast was delicious and offered plenty of options for everyone. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bed was incredibly cozy after a day of exploring. We also purchased an Acadia National Park pass when we booked our room, and they had it ready for us at check-in. This made visiting the park so much easier and was such a convenient touch! If you’re visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, I highly recommend staying at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel. Great location, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and wonderful staff—we would definitely stay here again!

Great place in every way.
Totally happy with everything about our stay. Hotel is very clean, rooms are above expectations, great bed and bathroom, and absolutely a great location on Main street but just outside the busy town center. Everything is walkable, and tons of great restaurants for every taste and level of dining you might want. Close to Acadia Park, and beautiful shoreline walk around the edge of town. Highly recommend staying here. Believe the great reviews!

Perfect hotel stay
We were unexpectedly upgraded from the Bar Harbor Hotel. The Hotel is beautiful and is ideally located near the square, restaurants and shopping . The staff are gracious and very helpful . The rooms are beautiful, clean, well appointed and beds are very comfortable !! The continental breakfast is the best that I’ve experienced. We will definitely stay again .
