Harborside Hotel Spa & Marina

This resort is super nice, with friendly and helpful staff and nice amenities. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Restaurant is good (pizza margherita is awesome). Nice complimentary coffee area and water. Love the hot tub overlooking the harbor. Location allows walking to downtown and the drive is minutes from Acadia Hull's Cove entrance.

My husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary this past weekend in Bar Harbor and loved staying right in the heart of where everything is downtown, without the hassle of traffic and parking. The walkable location, amenities, clean rooms and welcoming staff made everything about the Harborside wonderful and left us wanting to return. Thank you Harborside staff for treating us so kindly on our anniversary weekend. We can't wait to return! :)

Our stay at the Harborside Hotel was very relaxing. Our room was very clean and even had an outdoor balcony with two chairs and a table. We did not opt for any type of ocean view, so we did have a view of the right side parking lot BUT were lucky enough to have a very good view of the ocean if we faced right and o was so thankful for that. It was so beautiful. The outdoor area where the pool and hot tub were located was absolutely beautiful. The pool area had plenty of lounge-chairs and beds. The whole area had a breathtaking view of the ocean. All of the hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating from the time we pulled in, until the moment we checked out! Would definitely suggest for an upscale little getaway! And if you do visit, try the tiramisu for dessert ;)

It had been 10 years since our last visit to the Harborside Hotel, and Bar Harbor, and we were just as pleased this time as we were then. The property is very well maintained and within walking distance to everything in town. Our room was everything we needed and more including a full kitchen, 2 King sized beds and 2 bathrooms, plus the balcony, making it perfect for our 5 night stay. The beach between the hotel and the Bar Harbor Club was fun for sea glass hunting and the walk at low tide to Bar Island was a highlight of the trip. The water bottle filler next to the ice machine was an unexpected but wonderful feature. The hot beverage station right off the Lobby was also wonderful to get coffee, hot chocolate and hot tea. Sunrise and sunset were both incredible from the property. I would absolutely recommend a stay at Harborside to anyone!

From the moment we walked into this gorgeous resort from the time we said goodbye, my husband and I had the very best experience we possibly could have ever had at the Harborside Hotel. Dajana was the beautiful sweet lady that greeted us at the front desk, delivered wine to our room to help us celebrate our honeymoon, and welcomed us with a smile every single time we entered the hotel after exploring the island. She was so accommodating and helpful and made our experience at the hotel 5 stars. The bellmen were also very helpful, efficient, and we appreciated them as well. The hot tub was lovely. The pools were way larger than expected and were clean and warm. The views from every part of the property were beautiful. Direct view to the sand bar and close to all the best restaurants and shops. The rooms were so tastefully decorated, very comfortable and clean bed, and we loved the wood burning fireplace in the lobby. The Italian restaurant inside of the hotel was also amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. We can't wait to return!!!
