Great family vacation
We stay at the Harborside every year when we go to Bar Harbor but this was the first time we made a three generations trip with our kids and grandchildren, 15 people in all. Everyone loved it. We had bunk rooms for two of the families and adjoining rooms for the one family with three kids. My wife and I had a room with a partial island view while the others had harbor views. This was the first time there in late June rather than early in the month (school schedules) and we were impressed by how family friendly the hotel turned out to be. The grands loved the pools and their parents were all able to relax. Food service around the pools was a bit slow at times but nobody complained. Everyone wants to go back next year so mission accomplished.

Great stay; attentive and friendly staff
Beautiful property; staff is incredibly friendly. Go to the hot tub by the Harbor (near the tennis courts) to watch the sunset. Epic!

We are always very pleased with our stay at the Harborside Hotel. The staff is always friendly, and the rooms are very clean and spacious.

Great resort in Bar Harbor
What a beautiful place! We got the Oceanside room on the second floor and it is amazing, we have a balcony with two rocking chairs and it was so relaxing during the evenings. Very close (walking distance) to a lot of the restaurants and other off-property amenities.
