Harborside Hotel Spa & Marina

This hotel is very nice and comfortable with a well appointed room, very nice bathroom and overall a positive experience. The staff are excellent. Nothing stands out as especially great or especially poor, with the exception of very thin walls. As I'm writing this, I can hear every single word spoken by the couple in the room next to us. Granted, I don't think I've heard the wife speak one kind word to her husband since we've been here, with lots of loud F bombs and other choice expletives, but the point is that 100% of their conversation is audible in our room unless I turn our television volume up significantly.

Always a great experience I would highly recommend this hotel. The General Manager is very warm and welcoming and her team is always professional and friendly. The location is great and in walking distance to everything. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

Great location in Bar Harbour. Hotel could use some updating. Not a great hotel bar. Way too small for being the only one. Room was nice, had a ground floor room with patio facing harbor that was nice. Great location in the town. Great food and service at breakfast. An adults only pool would be nice.

Room: We stayed in an Oceanfront 1 Bedroom King Suite. It was so cozy with the fireplace! Our room was on the first floor, which was a little annoying at first, as I felt it was more of a partial view with the shrubbery and boats right in front. The best view was from the bedroom. However, over the stay I came to appreciate the first floor, we were the closest room to the hot tub and made good use of it. I loved all the windows and doors, and had natural light flooding in every morning. I was even able to catch the sunrise from the couch one morning. Pros: -Great service from the staff all throughout the visit. They were very attentive, especially at arrival. We experienced a lot of delays, and had an almost 24hr travel day to get there. Upon arrival past 11PM, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The gentleman that checked us in was a seasonal worker from Jamaica, but I forgot his name. -Lots of parking, and also great location so you won't always need the car -Umbrellas available in the lobby is super convenient. I think we needed to borrow twice over the course of our visit -The lobby is super cozy with a great big fireplace and lots of seating, a good place to hang and read a book. Cons: None that we experienced.
