Alexandra Barcelona A DoubleTree By Hilton

I spent 5 days in Barcelona for a business trip + a weekend with my family. The hotel is in a great position, walking distance from Placa de Catalunia and with metro station nearby, so easily to travel the city by public transportation. Check in was ok and the porter was helping me providing information and.... a glass of fresh water! The room was very nice, not enormous but comfortable and quite (..and I received an upgrading as Diamond HHonors Hilton). Breakfast quality and room were very good and the personnel ready to help and full of empathy (they recognized me as a frequent guest at the hotel...). I will for sure return to Alexandra hotel both for business and leisure.

The staff is amazing and courteous! They are friendly at every level The location is unbelievable! The rooms are comfortable in every way! Would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent service, location, room and bathroom. Prior to arriving in Spain, the staff had shared restaurant recommendations close to the hotel, and when we arrived the Front Desk Manager, Carlota, left a note and bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at the Alexandra Barcelona Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton. The location truly couldn’t be better—right in the heart of everything, yet the hotel still maintains the feel of a quiet, boutique retreat. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, making it easy to relax after a full day exploring the city. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. We were celebrating my son’s 27th birthday during our stay, and the hotel surprised him with a slice of birthday cake and a lovely note sent to his room. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the trip even more special. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

The location of this Curio cannot be beat. It's in the heart of a very upscale Barcelona neighborhood with tons of luxury shopping on every corner. It's within walking distance of two of Gaudi's famous apartment buildings: Casa Batllo and La Pedrera. Our superior king was roomy for Europe and the bed was very comfortable. We used ear plugs to drown out any road noise while sleeping. Front desk staff, especially Maxi, were friendly and eager to make a great impression. The steak restaurant, Solomillo, was so tasty, we went twice!
