I really wanted to rate this hotel about 3 1/2 stars. The positive things are the location and the staff. The negative are the noisy rooms. We had a courtyard room so I figured no noise from the street. True, but the noise from adjoining rooms and the hallways was incredible. It sounded like the person in the next room was inside ours. You can hear everything and it's hard to sleep. The room itself was small and not what you would expect for the price. The attentive staff made our stay better, but I would choose elsewhere next time.

We were convinced to stay in the gothic quarter for our one night before a cruise. The location was a smart decision, but the hotel did not meet my expectations. We had recently stayed at a Curio collection hotel in Costa Rica and had assumed the standards would be similar. While the staff were very friendly, no food was available onsite when we arrived lunch time after an international flight. We didn't mind going out to explore until our room was ready, but had hoped to have a decent meal first. The accommodations were much more basic than I had expected. I messaged in advance to make sure that there were robes and I was told that there were (not). The liquid soap and shampoo were jammed in the dispensers in the shower. We did have a nice dinner at the bar and the hotel has some appeal. It just didn't seem to be anything special. In retrospect it was a mistake to compare it to Botanika in Costa Rica.

This place is amazing and the staff was very helpful - clean room great breakfast and the hotel was conveniently located to all the attractions and great restaurants. We stayed 7 nights and could have stayed another 5 nights to experience the true experience of the city - definitely will return to this place!

This was our first time in Spain and this hotel blew our expectations out of the water. It was clean and beautiful from the staff to the rooms. Bani and the security guy were so welcoming and caring. The rooms were spacious. Thank you for making our stay special.

Had a really nice stay in this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location at the top of the main shopping street and then Ramblas. Rooms are well appointed, the pool and patio is delightful with very friendly service staff. Food and beer great. Highly recommend staying here
