Alexandra Barcelona A DoubleTree By Hilton

This was my third time to stay in the Alexandra in the last several years. The front desk staff are always very welcoming and provide a high level of service. They were always available to answer my questions. The location of this hotel is in the heart of Barcelona near high end shopping, popular restaurants and other shops that contribute to an exciting atmosphere. The rooms are clean and in all areas of the hotel there is great attention to cleanliness. Despite being located on a major street, the noise level is very tolerable. I always get the room next to the street, so I can see everyone going about their day. I will definitely consider the Alexandra for my next visit to Barcelona.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Front Desk Manager Carlota Monter. Her warm hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail truly elevated our stay. She even added a special personal touch that made us feel extra welcome, and it meant a lot to us. I also want to acknowledge the young lady working at the Charcuterie in the lobby. Her dedication, friendly attitude, and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. I truly appreciate her efforts. The hotel itself was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Its central location is a big plus, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would gladly return.

From the moment we arrived to check-out, every single person we interacted with was genuinely warm, attentive and professional. In a city where service can sometimes feel transactional, this felt refreshingly personal. Location is very convenient. The room was a typical Curio Collection design with nice touches (good lighting, comfortable bed, Nespresso machine, decent-sized bathroom with a rain shower). Size was fine. The one noticeable downside: sound insulation. The hotel is on a busy stretch of Carrer de Mallorca, and the room faced the street. Even with the windows closed, I could clearly hear traffic, scooters, and the occasional late-night chatter until around 1-2 am. If you’re a light sleeper or used to total silence, this could be an issue. Earplugs helped, but it’s definitely something the hotel could improve (thicker windows or secondary glazing would make a world of difference).

Location is good for walking to many places and the Hop on Hop off stop. Sir Juan Andres and staff were friendly, helpful and overal amazing from our check in to our checkout. They made a long early morning flight arrival a lot easier. Very clean and redtsurant/breakfast staff were also great. Thank you Juan for helping us kick off our trip on the right foot. Will definitely stay again if in Barcelona again!

This is our second time at this hotel and it did not disappoint, staff is friendly and very helpful, hotel is very clean and location is excellent. Breakfast had everything and delicious. Had dinner at the restaurant again and, as usual, was excellent. Would recommend this hotel
