It’s afterhours, you’re sipping a cocktail, and a Roman mosaic from the second century is begging closer study – Claris Hotel makes a museum experience available 24 hours a day, thanks to an expansive art collection that ranges from Victorian furniture to Turkish kilims to etchings by modern Catalan painter Josep Guinovart. The ground floor museum showcases pieces from Jordi Clos Archaeological Foundation’s private collection, while Napoleon leaves his mark with several drawings he commissioned. Another way this hotel channels a museum: Peace and quiet pervades the hallways, which guarantees a good night’s sleep.

Wonderful stay for our family of three in the Heart of Barcelona. Walking distance to familia Sacreda , very sort walk to Casa Batilo, short walk to Plaça Catalonia . From moment we arrived we were greeted with a glass of cava and the special attention began with Eric at the concierge desk , then of course the wonderful Osama at the concierge desk then the best doorman I have ever met Racing into traffic in order to get us taxis named Nordi then an amazing concierge Osama gave us a complementary Bottle of Cava and fruit bowl in our two story suite and amazing cooked to order all you can eat breakfast headed by the marvelous Jimmy. We ate in the rooftop terrace several times sheltered from the rain. We had a beautiful guitar player one night. All and all our stay could not have been better.

Right from getting out of the taxi you feel like you are being looked After, Easy check in with a glass of cava to ease you in. the room was spacious and very clean and maid service impeccable. The mini bar is restocked every day and is free.. Lovely touch. The pool area is a bit small space wise and people tend to Leave their towels on the sun loungers and seating area and disappear for hours, apart from that it's really good. The staff are extremely pleasant and I'm sure would look after your every need. I'm checking out tomorrow at noon so we'll see how that goes, don't expect any issues. Very happy with all at this hotel and would definitely stay here again, Great hotel highly recommend it. AD

Firstly the roof terrace is beautiful. I thought the pool was surprisingly big for being in a city centre. Towels were provided and there was a pool side bar service (note no shallow area for smaller children - this does feel more of a hotel for adults) . I ate in the roof top terrace and the food was lovely, again not really for children though, the staff were pleasant but not overly welcoming (perhaps because I had a toddler there). The room was large enough, but the bed was a small double and quite hard. We also had a room directly beneath the roof top terrace so late in the evening and early morning you could hear the chairs scraping above you. The bed was very hard too. The complimentary water top up was helpful each day. The chocolate left with the blinds closed was a nice touch (although odd we only got 1 chocolate between 2, again perhaps the child wasn’t meant to be there!) slippers and robe in the room and I liked the electronic black out blinds - the room was very dark. Nice to have a coffee machine in the room too, although only 2 coffee capsules. The location was very nice, I felt safe walking around on my own. Walked to Sagrada Familia, and all the way down to the beach (which is quite a trek in the heat) . Overall I think I would recommend this hotel for couples, but perhaps pay slightly more for a better room to ensure you can enjoy the lovely facilities as well as having a good nights sleep. The roof top terrace and pool is certainly what makes this hotel fabulous and all the staff on the ground floor were very helpful.

Excellent Hotel, location, service, everything that you expect from a 5 star hotel. Besides the poll is a plus, specially for the wave of heat that was going on in Barcelona. A family trip that my grandkids will never forget not only for the hotel but the people that work there. Thanks

Quiet room, lovely amenities, and got a fantastic recommendation on where to enjoy a tapas restaurant. We would definitely stay here the next time we are in Barcelona. We could walk easily to shopping on Las Ramblas and the market. The market was a must visit !

We had a wonderful 5 nights at the Hotel Claris in Barcelona and enjoyed every minute of it...The staff went out of their way to tend to our every need. The service they showed far surpassed the service I have experienced at many five-star hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel!
