It’s afterhours, you’re sipping a cocktail, and a Roman mosaic from the second century is begging closer study – Claris Hotel makes a museum experience available 24 hours a day, thanks to an expansive art collection that ranges from Victorian furniture to Turkish kilims to etchings by modern Catalan painter Josep Guinovart. The ground floor museum showcases pieces from Jordi Clos Archaeological Foundation’s private collection, while Napoleon leaves his mark with several drawings he commissioned. Another way this hotel channels a museum: Peace and quiet pervades the hallways, which guarantees a good night’s sleep.

While brief, we enjoyed our time at Claris. Hotel is located near a very upscale shopping area similar to Rodeo Drive but so much better. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooftop was awesome along with the cocktails. While we got an upgrade which was very nice, and the room was super cool it was a tad awkward in the layout. The whole hotel is quite cool and unique and I would recommend it.

Beautiful appointed hotel. Great location near gracia and passeig de gracia. Staff was gracious and especially helped with details of different neighborhoods. Will definitely go back

I've been coming to this hotel for years and it always feels like home every time. That's especially because of the wonderful Eric who always has a wide smile and welcome words for everyone. Hes been taking care of my every needs and more. The whole staff are wonderful but Eric goes that extra mile for hes guests. Highly recommend staying at this hotel. I can't wait for my trip to Barcelona.

We found this hotel based on reviews and were very happy we did. We stayed three nights at The Claris and really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms very very well appointed with every amenity, daily maid service with turn down service was excellent. The interior design of the hotel is really stunning with art throughout. The staff is helpful and precessional. Breakfast buffet was excellent; very delicious with wide variety that included eggs, pancakes, meats made to order, and served by an excellent staff. The rooftop bar and restaurant had great cocktails and tapas with gorgeous views. I definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is definitely 5☆, our room was amazing, it had everything we needed and more. All the little extra things made it even more special and one above other hotels. The welcome drink and sweets, the free daily mini bar drinks, chocolates at night, hair straighteners, great toiletries, to name a few things. The roof top pool is a great place to relax after a long day sightseeing seeing. The roof top bar is lovely too. The service was excellent from all the staff, especially from Carina on reception and Eric, the concierge. They went above and beyond to make our anniversary stay extra special. They were very helpful and friendly. They made our stay, by welcoming us every morning or night and helping us with restaurant recommendations and places to visit etc. They were outstanding. The breakfast staff were also very welcoming and helpful too. Infact every staff member we dealt with was helpful and friendly, from the cleaners to the front desk to the doormen. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Just one thing to note if you are a light sleeper, you can hear the traffic in the rooms facing the road, We had to move rooms as we couldn't sleep. This hotel and staff are exceptional. We definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful 5 nights at the Hotel Claris in Barcelona and enjoyed every minute of it...The staff went out of their way to tend to our every need. The service they showed far surpassed the service I have experienced at many five-star hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel!
