We had a fantastic experience at Hotel El Palace Barcelona. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you walk through the doors, you immediately begin to relax. The staff are truly exceptional. They go above and beyond not only to ensure your stay is memorable, but to make you feel like you're part of the El Palace family. From the front desk and concierge to the team that personally welcomes you and introduces you to the hotel, every interaction feels warm, genuine, and attentive. It's the kind of hospitality that defines a true five-star experience. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and beautifully appointed. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the rooms stay refreshingly cool, and the marble bathrooms are luxurious, with some featuring dual shower heads. The rooftop pool and restaurant offer stunning views of Barcelona and provide the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. I have no doubt I'll return to Hotel El Palace Barcelona whenever my travels bring me back to Barcelona. Our stay at El Palace Barcelona was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly checked out, every detail reflected a true white-glove, first-class experience. My wife and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and the entire team helped make it a trip we will never forget. In fact, we are already missing the hotel and looking forward to planning our next visit, hopefully bringing our entire family along to experience it with us. What made our stay so special was the people. The concierge team, valets, and front-of-house staff consistently exceeded every expectation. Christian, in particular, was exceptional. He greeted us each morning, remembered what we had done the day before, asked about our experiences around Barcelona, offered wonderful recommendations, and always took a genuine interest in making our stay better. On several occasions, he helped us secure transportation when we were running late, always with kindness, professionalism, and a smile. We also appreciated the young gentleman who welcomed us upon arrival, introduced us to the hotel, and escorted us to our room. That first impression set the tone for the entire week. Every interaction made us feel cared for, valued, and genuinely welcomed. The only suggestion I would offer is to share more of the hotel's remarkable history with guests. El Palace is far more than a luxury hotel; it is one of Barcelona's great landmarks. During our stay, I spent time learning about its fascinating past, including its role during and after the Spanish Civil War, and I found it incredibly enriching. A guided historical experience, self-guided tour, or additional information available to guests would make an already exceptional stay even more memorable. The hotel is every bit as iconic and inspiring as the city's famous attractions. As much as we enjoyed visiting landmarks such as La Sagrada Família, Park Güell, Casa Batlló, and the Gothic Quarter, we found ourselves equally captivated by the beauty, elegance, and timeless character of El Palace itself. For seven wonderful days, it felt like we were living inside a piece of Barcelona's history. I would also be remiss if I did not mention our extraordinary evening at Amar. Without question, it was the finest dining experience we had during our stay in Barcelona - and we had many incredible dining experiences in Barcelona. Every aspect of the evening was exceptional, from the creativity and presentation of each dish to the impeccable service and elegant atmosphere. It was more than a meal; it was an unforgettable experience that perfectly complemented our anniversary celebration. The attention to detail, warmth of the staff, and remarkable culinary artistry made it a night we will remember for years to come. Dining at Amar felt like stepping into a dream, and it stands as one of the highlights of our entire trip. Between the world-class hospitality of El Palace and the unforgettable experience at Amar, our anniversary trip exceeded every expectation. Barcelona gave us memories we will treasure forever, but El Palace made us feel at home while we created them. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family. Thank you for making our 30th anniversary so special. We are already looking forward to the day we return.

A stunning, bright and beautiful hotel. Our room was gorgeous with a huge elegant bathroom. Bed was so comfortable. Had delicious cakes in the lobby bar. Wish we could have stayed longer. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly.

Simply The Best Hotel in Barcelona - we’ve visited Barcelona on several occasions but this was our first time at El Palace (formerly the Ritz) - it’s lost none of it grandeur and boasts some wonderful period rooms such as the grand hall , the breakfast garden, the rooftop restaurant etc. The rooms are spacious, with excellent bathrooms but what really makes this place special also is its staff as nothing is too much. A special thanks to Ana at front desk for her assistance upon check out. On a separate point the location is also perfect for walks, shopping and main visit sites. A must stay place when visiting.
