Disappointing comfort.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This is a good location in the Port. Close to a shopping mall with restaurants. It is easy to walk around the port . We had a suite of two rooms with sitting area and small table. The comfort of the bed was disappointing. I had one foam pilow and one feather. My partner had two feather pillwsws which I had never come acoss before in a quality hotel. Breakfast area was small with no fresh egg station. Cereal choice was poor with no healthy option like a muesli.Fitness room was small but had all basic equipment.

Terrible treatment

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The reception desk was rude and not hospitable. Three different times we were given the wrong password for the wifi and were treated rudely for asking. We had pre ordered a fruit basket which we asked to be delivered immediately after we checked in. We were told that is could not be delivered until after 5 pm., so I told them to cancel it as we were eating an early dinner and did not want it delivered after we had eaten. They said they couldn't cancel it but WE should call room service to see if they would deliver it earlier. We did and we're told they would. We waited 2 hours and went to dinner and it was delivered after we got back. We refused delivery and asked that it be removed from our bill. It was not removed and at checkout i was told that the hotel manager ( who i never met) had instructed them not to remove it. I spent over $600.00 dollars for 1 night stay and they are stupid enough to not give good customer service to guests when they screwed up over a $25.00 basket of fruit that we never touched. I will never stay at any hotel in this chain again.

Great Location and Staff, but Let Down by Noise and Inconsistency

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Stayed at the Eurostars Grand Marina for 5 nights over the Easter weekend and overall had a decent experience, but with some notable drawbacks. Positives: The location is excellent, especially if you want to be close to the port and main attractions. The food was very good throughout our stay, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made a positive difference. Negatives: Housekeeping was quite inconsistent — the cleaner would either show up very late in the day (around 5pm) or not at all. When they did come, they often left only 2 or 3 towels despite there being 4 of us staying in the room, which was frustrating. Breakfast is advertised as being served until 11:00, but on one morning it closed at 10:30 without any prior notice, which was disappointing and inconvenient. Another issue was the noise: the hotel is right next to the cruise terminal, and when ships were docked it could get very loud — my wife recorded noise levels of around 80dB, comparable to a drill at times. Overall: A good hotel in terms of location, food, and staff, but inconsistent housekeeping, poor communication around breakfast hours, and noise levels mean it falls short of a higher rating. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)
