Grand Hotel Central Barcelona

Upgraded to Room 605. Enjoyed our two night stay. Good meals on both the Terrace & Can Bo. Excellent service. Only improvements would be decent pillows rather than these awful rock hard foam ones. And the room was very noisy due to the traffic outside, surprisingly no double glazing or very ineffective if there was.

After the hotel resolved our initial queries, we can safely say that the room is superb. The bellboy brought up our luggage, showed us our room and explained everything to make sure we were happy. The room is light, airy and relaxing and the bed comfortable. We are staying for three nights; we have had one breakfast so far that has met, if not exceeded our expectations. The great thing about this hotel is its location, right in the heart of Barcelona, making it easy to stroll to nearby sights, restaurants and shops without any hassle. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located hotel in Barcelona.

Excellent hotel in the ideal location-we went (almost) everywhere on foot. Staff was super polite and eager to assist us with everything we needed. Roof garden gorgeous, we had light lunch one day and the food was very nice. Family room was perfect for a family with 2 kids aged 10 and 8. Spacious, super clean and modern. And it is designed in a way to give the parents the privacy they need which is very important…

Extraordinary hotel! Everything was top notch. I can’t say enough about all of the hotel staff. They were professional, courteous and always helpful. Very clean, modern rooms with all the amenities. The breakfast was outstanding as well as the restaurant staff. I would love to go back!

This lovely hotel really couldn't be located any better for getting out and about in the city. Our room was spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed (much appreciated after long long days of sight-seeing) and a wonderfully refreshing shower. The staff was, without exception, friendly and helpful. It was too chilly during our stay to make use of the rooftop pool, but it was a nice place to sit in the afternoon to make the most of the last of the sun. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of high quality choices. Housekeeping were very efficient and our room was always kept very clean and comfortable bed. I would dearly love to be giving five stars, but our room was at the front of the hotel, over-looking the main road, and there was absolutely no noise-attenuation offered by the windows, and despite being absolutely shattered from all the walking we were doing every day, neither of us were able to sleep right through the night for the whole week we were there. Apart from this, we loved our stay!
