Grand Hotel Central Barcelona

Very nice room and amenities. excellent service and excellent breakfast buffet. very good location, hotel is somewhat behind the Sagrada. I would definitely stay there on my next trip.

We stayed 3 nights (weekday stay). Hotel is in an excellent location (Gothic Quarter) - great spot for first-time Barcelona visitors. We walked everywhere from here - El Born (5 min), Barcelona Cathedral (across the street), Picasso Museum (5 min), La Rambla (10-15 min), Eixample (15 min), Casa Batllo (20 min), Sagrada Familiar (35 min). Our queen room was clean with a simple yet cozy design. I appreciate the wood floors with an area rug under the bed - made the room feel much cleaner. Spacious bathroom. The bathtub has a glass door that swings but does not create a tight enough seal when using the shower. So, the floor by the tub got quite wet (we resolved the issue by sticking a small towel underneath it to make sure the glass panel was inside the tub just enough for the water to run down the panel and into the tub). Our room included breakfast - the buffet had a lot of options. A few items changed from day to day. Service from the front desk to breakfast to the doormen was excellent. Everyone was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Be sure to enjoy their rooftop space and check out the old library. I definitely recommend the Grand Hotel Central!

Good hotel, area is lovely, near station, restaurants. Clean room and areas, staff are very friendly. Roof top Pool was a special treat, easy to get beds and nice to relax in afternoon even though does go into shade. Food and drinks did feel a but pricey, but it was all very nice. Breakfast got very busy one morning as a large group stayed, food ran out and took while to restock. Eggs tend to lie around a bit, would be nicer if fresher. Overall good stay and lovely hotel and location.

From the very friendly staff to the infinity pool on the rooftop, with an amazing view! The room was spacious, including the bathroom with a bathtub and the design was clean and chic. Breakfast was amazing, the mini premade sandwiches are a great addition, because they are both practical and tasty, and the salmon was also divine! You will not regret booking this hotel :D

This is an amazing hotel that blends elegance with history and amazing views. Rooftop infinity pool gives full view of Barcelona. Stunning library- floor to ceiling. Great buffet breakfast!
