H10 Casanova

Wonderfully clean, friendly hotel within 15 walk to the beautiful town centre. Staff were professional and very helpful, providing maps and guidance as to where to visit; nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms were spotless providing many toiletry extras icn. The street is very busy with constant traffic, but each room is double glazed x 2 with air-conditioning, plus a ceiling fan if needed. The bed is super comfortable so a good night's sleep was guaranteed! We would definitely recommend the Casanova; it's location is perfect!

This review is based on experience with their reservation system. I tried to book a room over a year later at a free cancellation rate. The system on completion booked me at a non refundable rate. I immediately emailed their reservation team re the problem. The hotel offered to charge me the higher rate for a non refundable reservation which I accepted. However, when I asked for a printout of the new confirmation reservation, the hotel decided "after further review" to reneg on the offer that I had already accepted.

Very very nice hotel to stay at. Rooms are amazing, so is breakfast. We almost felt sad after 3 days to continue on with our trip. I will miss having 2 showerheads in the shower, which was exceptionally large actually for my expectations for Europe.

This hotel is not child friendly. The pictures of the swimming pool & gym are deceiving. The pool is tiny & it’s next to the bar so not good for children what so ever. The gym has 3 machines altogether. Staff were nice apart from one women at reception who’s name unfortunately I can’t remember.

H10 is centrally located close to University. It is an easy commute to all public transportation. It is located in a lively part of the city. Rooms are small, but not tiny. I actually find them comfortable. I felt that the price we paid, was a good deal for a 4 star hotel. Rooms are cleaned daily and 2-5 € left on the bed, helped a lot. Rooms are very well isolated, for light and sound. Or we had quiet neighbors. 🙂 I found that all personal are very friendly: reception, breakfast area, cleaning personal. The hotel is in good shape, in general. There are a couple of things that can be improved: Fridge in the room is a joke. Do not understand how difficult would it be to get a decent new small fridge. A new one is under €100. Bathroom door had the bottom swollen from water and it looked worn out. The towel heater support is not functional. Not sure why provide one, if you know it is not working. The good part: breakfast is amazing! It is the best I encountered in my trips. Mind you, I do not travel often. Good job H10 Casanova!
