H10 Casanova

We stayed here for 3 nights post cruise. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet and… big plus… nice big bath towels which not all hotels offer. We were booked for room only so I can’t comment on breakfast but we did dine in one evening after a busy days sightseeing. The menu was quite generic but the food was lovely and the portions were very generous, so much so that we struggled to eat everything we had ordered. From what we could see there were limited evening eating options close to the hotel although there are 2 cafes bars directly opposite for daytime food. The rooftop terrace is nice too - we sat there one evening for a drink. The pool is quite small but ideal for a cool off dip.

Great central location. Modern and spotlessly clean. Our rooms weren't ready when we arrived but the reception staff held our luggage and assisted us in finding a place to grab something to eat. This turned out to be a fabulous find and is definite return venue. Great little pool and bar on the rooftop which was much appreciated after a very hot day sightseeing. Our room was spacious with fabulous aircon, great shower and every amenity. I cannot fault a thing. We will certainly return here on our next visit to Barcelona.

The hotel is in a good location near many tourist attractions. Excellent breakfast selection. Front desk staff were very helpful in booking tickets for tours and airport transportation.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rating above is for H10 loyalty programme! I took the family to Spain for a couple of weeks, including a weekend in Barcelona. The hotel was recommended by a friend that works in the industry. I booked 4 rooms for around €3000 and I would recommend the hotel. This stay would have made a super start to the H10 loyalty programme and probably put me in the silver tier. Unfortunately, I applied to join the H10 programme 3 days after returning home. and then was advised that rule 6.2 states. "Points will not be awarded for stays completed prior to the date of registration in the programme, and no subsequent claim will be possible." I did write to H10 to ask if an exception could be made, due to being a new customer, and that the claim was submitted 3 days after leaving the hotel. we are planning another visit in the autumn. Same reply each time. Read rule 6.2 Having had a career in Sales and Marketing I found it strange that the lady I corresponded with rigidly applied a rule rather than applying goodwill. this was our first and last stay with H10 hotels.

Fabulous hotel. Great location. Staff were so friendly & efficient. Stayed there before & after our cruise. My friend had accidentally left her jacket in the room but it was there when we returned to the hotel 8 days later. Our number one Barcelona hotel. In fact my husband and I are staying there in 4 weeks time. Can't wait.
