Great location, lovely staff and comfortable

Stayed here when I was doing the barcelona marathon and the location was ideal, only a 10 minute walk from the start line. The hotel is lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant bar was lovely, food was great. Staff were super friendly too. Only thing I would have liked was larger mugs at breakfast for tea

Central Location

H10 Casanova in Barcelona is a very decent hotel with a great location, just a short walk from the city centre. The courtyard rooms are quiet, which is perfect if you prefer peace and calm. Be mindful of the bed size if you’re over 185 cm, as some rooms can be on the smaller side. I didn’t have food at the hotel, but there’s a beautiful coffee shop and plenty of cafes and breakfast spots nearby that are well worth trying. Overall, it’s a solid choice for one or two nights in Barcelona.

H10 Casanova staff go above and beyond

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We've been to a number of H10 hotels and whilst they each have particular nuances, you generally know what you are going to get and that is friendly service, good clean accommodation and a positive experience. The H10 Casanova was no exception, with a welcoming front desk, excellent housekeeping services and a room that was stocked daily with complimentary coffee pods, tea bags, milk and water. Our room overlooked Gran Via but you would not have known it until you opened the excellent double glazing which kept any street noise to a minimum. One minor gripe was the centrally controlled AC (which was turned off for sustainability reasons!). This meant the room did get warmer than we would have liked and the only option to cool down was to use the ceiling fan or open the windows. Whilst not a major issue for us, I do hope the AC is working during the summer months! The hotel is located very close to Urgell and Universitat metro stations and a stones throw from La Rambla and Passeig de Gracia, so it's location in Eixample is ideal if you wish to walk around the city. We included breakfast in our package and found there was sufficient choice and variety during our stay and again restaurant staff were welcoming and attentive. Finally, as a testament to the excellent service we received, we had the misfortune to need a doctor (due to illness) on the last day of our stay. The hotel's staff couldn't have been more helpful during what was a very stressful time and allowed us to extend our stay by 2 days and ensuring we were made as comfortable as we could be. We will always be grateful for the kindness and goodwill shown to us during that difficult time. Thank you.

Well situated

This was a lovely hotel, very central with excellent customer service. Walked Barcelona from here! However east access to taxis and restaurants too. 25 min walk to Gothic Quarter. Highly recommend this hotel. Slept well and was rested for the day ahead.
